Really? Not a single team drops points this weekend... I hope at least we can do the same tonight. I'm going to go with 3-1 to the Gooners.

yeah, we had massive pressure to win our game as well. With all your rivals winning, it forces you to win to keep pace...

The table is so tight that 1 or 2 bad results and you could be sixth!

not really, we are 7 points ahead of 6th :p

you get the idea :p Seriously though, the big teams will start flexing their muscle now and form a "breakaway", it's all about staying in touch. get to the final 9 games 3 points back and it's all up for grabs.

What the fsck has Ozil been up too ? been rather off color for a while now ....

He isn't doing as badly as people think.
I was comparing his work rate to the Chelsea midfielders, he outclasses them all with an average of 63 passes per game and 3 key passes per game.
He only looks average because Ramsey's work rate is so high (avg. 70 passes per game).

I know there is more to it than just passing (distance travelled etc.) but for an attacking midfielder I am mentioning the stats that count.
He has received the ball, kept possession and released the ball an average of 63 times.

Season stats after 17 games (totals for passes completed, assists, goals, distances covered, tackles won, etc) is as follows: 1. Suarez 2. Ramsey 3. Aguero... 10. Özil. Bitey edges it because of his phenomenal scoring record, but it is a huge achievement considering he missed the start of the season. Ramsey's contribution is just staggering though. We lost him at a very bad time.

Passing stats? I find them a bit weird tbh. An example: Arteta made 94 passes against Chelsea in the league game. The significance? They were all left and right! Not a single decisive pass, dink over the top - zip! I never saw the point of dominating possession if you don't do anything with it.

Özil needs to step up now, too. There are players on the team with 1/4 of his value out playing him, with 200% of his work rate. Watch Ox tonight if he starts: he'll run rings around Özil.

Arsenal need to buy a quality centre forward in the summer.. You arguably should have bought one last summer. Giroud is never going be a match winner like Aguero, Suarez, Van Persie, Rooney etc.
