Eboue is a good player and he is also very versatile, Marouane Chamakh has already signed a pre-contract with Arsenal for next season. what is needed is:

cover for Clichy at LB
at least one CB preferably 2
1 gk I'll like the Lyon Keeper I forget his name.
and somebody to replace Edurado

Arsenal need at least 2 CB's - non neg - preferably 3. Considering Sol(short term cover) , Gallas(to Roma or the like) and Silvestre(please put him out of his misery now already) will all be gone - along with Senderos(on free thankfully).

You only have Johan Djourou coming back from injury along with Norveidt(playing in a DM role in bundesliga).

There's cover for Clichy in Gibbs(favoured by Arsene and wason track for an Eng call-up after ashley cole injury before his own injury) and we also have Armand Traore - I doubt it Arsene will go in for another LB.

I would like for us to get better cover in at DM in place of Song - but I am afraid Arsene will stick with that Eastmond kid as cover.

Then a proper full-on quality keeper - not just the last kid to get picked and used as a makeshift GK. - Can we at least get rid of the current 3 1st team keepers.

Wojciech Szczesny - will become world class(currently form keeper in league one) he needs a proper role model keepr - similar to what Edwin Van Der Sar is - someone to learn more ropes from , but at least he is old enough not to hang around long enough to block the youngsters path.

Here's hoping that teams come in for Eduardo + Bendtner.

Allowing us to get 2 more class strikers.

Eboue isnt defensive enough to consider decent cover for rb, also too temperamental, though he has improved this season, maybe he will improve further next season.. But if we can cash in on him and get a REAL rb ;)

Ummm.. dont need cover for Clichy, there are so many really good LB's as it is.. Gibbs->Traore
thats enough cover

The lyon keeper is lloris, he would be perfect

Bendtner has to stay.. his goal return speaks for itself

anyone of neuer, hart and lloris would be amazing!

people in the forum have already spoken of chamakh and i think he will add a physical presence and some power to the forward line. we also have wellington silva who is setting the brazillian league alight with his pace, tricks and skill and i think he will be wonderful should he be allowed to play next season on the new 'special talent' working visa in the EU.

i think eduardo deserves another shot at a full season next term - we will have the chamakh who comes in from the left and vela like eduardo, and perhaps gilles sunu who is at derby so, perhaps keeping eduardo will make him work harder to fight for his place.

the situation around diaby and denilson comes down to competition for places. when we had a fully fit midfield like we had at home to porto for example, diaby and denilson started to work their socks off picking up their performances and showing the manager they should be playing.. the moment they were the 1st choice due to injuries, you could see they couldn't give a toss about working hard. i think we need to get in at least 2 combative hard working midfielders to complement cesc and nasri. someone like lee catamole and maybe even steven pienaar (you will struggle to find a harder working player than him) or even someone with some positional sense and can do the untidy work and the short passes in and around the defensive midfield area and mop things up like gilberto. I've heard people mention Melo at juve but I have my doubts we'd be in for him again.

And Clichy doesn't need cover he needs replacing... & a right back to replace Sagna (who seems to have decided to stop defending). A central defender & striker would be nice too.

My Hopes for the transfer window:

Gary Cahill (CB)- in
Chamkh (ST)- in
Frey or Joe Hart (GK)- in
Eden Hazard - in (Not sure if you've seen this kid in action, but he looks a great player. We have plenty players for that attacking mid position, but we gotta try bring in this guy).
Central Mid - in

If Gallas leaves, we need another CB, Hangeland from Fulham perhaps?

Eduardo - out
Silvestre - out
Denilson - out
Almunia - out
Fabianski - out

Ah forgot about Ramsey, that pushes Diaby and Denilson to 3rd and 4th choice.. :)

Song is the only true holding midfield player we have though

-throws up at sight of current away kit-

Blasphemy!! I bought the blue away kit the second it came out. I love it.

Next season's home kit will be a celebration of 125 years of existence.

It could all be bullsheet, but I think that looks awesome.

And looks like we'll be reverting back to the yellow away kit. Hopefully it'll be a little better than the away kit of 08 09 season.

What Arsenal you been watching Denilson is Wengers 1st choice to play along side Song just in front of the back 4. and Diaby is 2nd choice to Arshavin just behind the striker that's if Nasri playing on the wing. He has been used has amake shift CDM from time to time

I think Denilson used to be, just before Ramsey got injured he was being picked ahead of both Denilson and Diaby, this occured after the second game in a row where denilson jogged back and cost us goals

Denilson was clearly dropped and afaik Diaby never played in the hole that you're referring to, once this season... He was tried in that position a few times last season..

the 'new' 1st choice central midfield is song and diaby in the more defensive roles with fabregas just ahead of them. denilson was relegated to the bench after the man utd match at the emirates. diaby came back from injury in the next game at chelsea and stayed since.

before he got injured, ramsey briefly served as backup to diaby, ahead of denilson who was seriously struggling for form.

I've heard that Wenger will be sticking with Fabianski, so I think we should count ourselves lucky if we manage a draw. We can hope that Man City will be feeling the pressure and give us a chance to stick it to them, but I don't think that would be the case. Silvestre at the back again, heh.

I suppose the plus side is that RVP might start and Arshavin could be back. I'm not sure if Song has managed to train at all this week. We'll need him against De Jong and possibly Stephen Ireland.
