That was miss... Watched it over and over on PVR and Im sorry to say that De Waals kick was not over...

Anyways, if the Boks just played like they did in the last 5 minutes, NOT KICK EVERY BALL, they would have won this game easily... De Waal kicks the whole time, BOTH scrumhalfs kicked the whole time... As soon as they realised they needed a try and stopped kicking the possesion away, they scored a TRY... This kicking game is getting beyong retarded...

Er Sly, then get yourself a new tv - that kick went straight through the poles - they just replayed the kick now as well. I've never seen two linesmen get it wrong by such a margin, considering that it had the legs by a long shot.

Anyways...well played Emerging Boks - hopefully that game was the nail in the coffin for my favourite poeth, EARL! Useless twat...

in raining conditions I would kick as well, taking a up and under in those winds is very hard and puts the opposition under a lot of pressure. And yes it was over XD!

If you look at the blue of the poles you can see the ball going over the blue... Meaning it was outside... Also to me it looked like De Waal knew it was miss, look at his reaction after the kick...

Just looked at it again, it's close, watching it on a CRT (So that could be it)... the ball looks like it goes on the inside of the poles... But when it passes it looks like it's on top of the blue... Probably over but its close ;) Not through the middle...

I completely disagree with all of your observations - we must have watched different kicks then. I just rewound it and watched again - was definitely over...

But it didnt work... The Lions never really dropped balls from high kicks, also we kicked the ball to far every time, no one could get there to put pressure on the lions... Or easy catch in the 22.

that was kinda the game plan though, but not executed well enough, I didn't expect much more from the emerging boks in fact I thought the lions would make a meal of them.

Well when you have Sir Poethta Rose in flyhalf, you really shouldn't structure your game-plan around him.

Have I mentioned how much I cannot stand that w@nker?

Yes Yes I know it was the gameplan, but it didnt work... Its also a very crap gameplan to watch... Super14 was full of it aswell... I liked the ELVs because they encouraged running... This kicking BS has to stop...

Yes and Rose is n0b.

Meh, what a dreary, talentless-on-the-whole performance .......... was a good thing they snatched a draw but to be only 2 penalties up until the last minute is shocking. If Rose still manages to worm his way anywhere close to the Boks after that show, then it's time for the tinfoil hats because he's not there on talent.

Thank the heavens, I did not watch last night, but anyone that did watch, how did dewaldt potgieter do? I like him, in the super 14 final, he was freakin everywhere, you just saw this flash of blonde hair, then boots and grass as he tackled
