You prefer too look at the last 10 years excluding last year. I prefer too look at all the years before the last 10 years and last year.

But he is like a car, he needs to play to find his form.
The 30-year-old played 110 times for Chelsea but only scored 20 goals after joining from Liverpool in a £50million deal in 2011.
Apparently Milan are quite confident Torres will be great again.

There is this little gem though:
Mentioned right after this
So it seems like Chelsea got it all wrong... we had to just keep playing Torres until he starts scoring again. Easy as that.
Yeah, well, they have to make it look like they got a good deal here.
What did they pay for Torres btw or is it a loan deal?
Two full seasons. I actually still can't believe they took that deal.
Actually now that you mention it. I wonder what would have happened if the did sign Remy.Well, desperation was an element...
But, looking back at it, Liverpool not signing Remy lead up to the avalanche of moves in the end.

Loan deal, but they pay the full allocation of his wages (175k a week). A huge amount off of our books for the next two seasons.
Galliani apparently said: We did good business - Liverpool wanted 50 million and we got him for free. We always wanted him, and our patience paid off.

Good grief.
If I remember... Remy transfer (yearly depreciation) + yearly salary will be around 6 million. So (depending on sources) we will be saving 2/3 million a year for the two year period that he is on loan. If he was on 9 million then it means we basically have paid nothing for Loic Remy over three years because of a loan move.
Madness.
Any news on Costa's injury yet?
I'd give Costa 60mins.This is a big week for Chelsea, Swansea Home, then Schalke away then City A. If we get 9 points we will definitely be staking our claim. Some have made the argument that Remy should start on Saturday to rest Costa.

It's a big month, I think. Swansea, Schalke, City, Aston Villa (who are also unbeaten BTW), Sporting, Arsenal. We will also play United before October is out.
I'd start Costa on Saturday, then take him off after 15 minutes after he has scored two goals![]()
Hahaha..what about.
First - 15 min Costa
Middle - 60 min Remy
Last - 15 min Drogba
