Loan deal, but they pay the full allocation of his wages (175k a week). A huge amount off of our books for the next two seasons.

But, looking back at it, Liverpool not signing Remy lead up to the avalanche of moves in the end.
Actually now that you mention it. I wonder what would have happened if the did sign Remy.
Galliani apparently said: We did good business - Liverpool wanted 50 million and we got him for free. We always wanted him, and our patience paid off.
Good grief.
If I remember... Remy transfer (yearly depreciation) + yearly salary will be around 6 million. So (depending on sources) we will be saving 2/3 million a year for the two year period that he is on loan. If he was on 9 million then it means we basically have paid nothing for Loic Remy over three years because of a loan move.

It's a big month, I think. Swansea, Schalke, City, Aston Villa (who are also unbeaten BTW), Sporting, Arsenal. We will also play United before October is out.
