Nonsense. Cynical challenge. Deserved a second yellow.
Watching it again, you're talking nonsense.
Phil Dowd was pathetic the entire game.
However, we're top of the league and still unbeaten. Would've taken a draw considering no Remy or Costa. Onwards The Chels.
So that makes you, every Chelsea supporter, and 2 analysts then, that think it wasn't a second bookable offence? Fair point, I guess.
I see the match day analysts also agree that neither yellow card was deserved.
Skysports analysts of Jamie Carragher and Souness say it was a yellow...

How does it matter if it was cynical? It was a foul, in an attacking position, towards the end of the game. It was a yellow. As was the first. Come on - as far as I know defenders are not allowed to extend an arm to push an attacker of the ball. If I'm wrong; just show me to the rules that say otherwise...

Di Maria dived (cynically) in the first half - the arm barely touched him.
Di Maria dived for the first one
Second one was clearly inadvertent
First yellow card was for dissent, Ivanovic then had a few fouls, the final one was a racking up occurrence.
In hindsight, one has to wonder why he even bothered carding him again. I mean, what was it, like the 92nd minute or something? Still, a silly booking to pick up though, and he probably had just had enough of Ivanovic's ****.
