Dunno if there's going to be that many people playing this season. I'll probably check in on Friday though.
If we're lacking a bit then I might also skip until next season.

Seeing a lot of people tired with D3 lately, myself included. Started playing Path of Exile a few weeks ago and I'm addicted lol :D . Can't see myself playing D3 in the near future, maybe a few patches down the road if they change the game significantly.

Weeell...PoE is ok. At least until you play through once, which was where I gave up. But for a free game its cool.
I agree on D3, this season seems too similar to the last, so it'll be more of the same builds etc doing well, and it's not really fun playing if there's no one else around.

Maybe I should play a season of SC2 hehe, last time I did that seriously was when the original SC2 came out.

In all honesty, Path of Exile is one of the best, if not the best, action RPGs I've ever played. Why did you give up after the first playthrough? You gotta get to Merciless and mapping for the real fun to start! There are also literally hundreds of builds (Have you seen the Ascendancy expansion stuff!?). Lastly, it's free, sure, but I and many other people have spent way more on it via stash tabs and various micro-transactions than we normally would on a computer game. Alternatively funding model is probably a better word.

Also, with regard to season fatigue, every 3/4 months we get a brand new league with interesting new mechanics and prizes to win. The current one, Perandus, is pretty damned awesome!

Dunno, it just wasn't as much fun for me. Maybe it reminded me of D3 at the start where you had to play through the story over and over.

But on another topic, anyone else experiencing problems with the battle.net launcher? Every few days mine stops launching. If I re-install it it'll work again for a bit, but then it just breaks again...what a schlep.

It is fun to play PoE. I still Battle with this game mechanics but I'm limping on.

Made a couple of wrong choices, but who cares. I had help from the guild members when stuck.

We are on TS and we discuss the game and play together. Check out the other PoE thread and the challenge prices you get.
A nice Portal jip all the way.

Then Trade is a big plus in this game. You don't have to set up a Shop. You do it from your char's Tab's.
I hade more money this season the last season.

I can also say there are Ubers to be knocked over, but I have not reached that level yet.
Then you have to sort yourself out Gear and Skill Tree goes hand in hand. You need to watch out for these.

I'm probably going to play this season. I agree that the grind gets to you but with Blizzard clearing house on the botting front the playing field should be a bit more even. I'm just gonna pace it all out and try to finish another game in the backlog in tandem. There's something to be said for a game having an ending.

If you guys have any battle.net app problems like I'm experiencing, then you can run (some of) the games manually:
Diablo 3 - Create a shortcut with a flag:
"C:\Games\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" -launch

StarCraft 2 - Run it from SCSwitcher.exe:
"C:\Games\StarCraft II\Support\SC2Switcher.exe"

I don't think Hearthstone has a manual option, but I don't have it installed to check.

Just finished the season 6 season journey. I just played to earn the extra stash space, so not sure if I'm going to do anything else in S6.

Decided to play WD instead this time round, just got the 6 piece free set and enjoying the pets quite a lot, reminds me a bit of my old D2 necro skeleton army :)

Send one of the Clan officers a friend request if you want to join and play with with 'known' people

Tried the Dh for a change this season and i like it. Multishot looks so cool when then hole screen just dies. Long way to go though.

I really want to play, but I can't had a shoulder operation and my good arm must stay in a sling for 6weeks, I'm starting to loose my mind from withdrawl from gaming...

Start exploring point and click games and puzzle flash games. They might tide you over until you can get back on the hard tack. :)
