A bit late to the party but thought I'd join last night. Thanks to Rich and Henry (not sure of your MyBB nick, sorry :) ) for boosting my Wizard. Going to do a bit of reading up today on builds (recommendations and advice welcome at this point). Am off on Friday so will have a long day's gaming to look forward to. Toon here but still under construction.

First get your free set, should get you up to T6 level, then you can start gearing for end game stuff (6 piece vyr archon, or 6 piece firebird archon seem to be the builds of choice this season)

Yeah, looking at the Archon build. If nothing else, it just looks heaps of fun to play.

So the Archon wizard build is coming along nicely. Still need:

Chantodo's Will
Vyr Set Chest
Vyr Set Helm
Furnace
Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac

The search continues...

I managed to briefly get ranked runs in as a seasonal WD on normal (GR 83 at the time was ~630) and HC (GR 73 was ~830). Going to take a break and see what Season 7 brings.

Well done, Icaruim.

I'm splitting my time between the facerolling WD that I grind XP with and the more fun to play Monk. Will be pleased if I can get a 80 done this season with the WD and a 75 with the monk.

The biggest draw for season 7 for me atm is Torment 13. Seems like it could be a nice balance point for grinding mats and XP and keys etc.

Season 6 ends Friday 22 July.

Season 7 starts Friday 5 Aug.

Let the stash sorting begin.
I've done what I wanted to do this season so I have not been on for a while and I have no idea what I'll play next season yet. Just not another WD.

I don't stash sort anymore :D

I just trash the whole lot without a second glance.

Any links to what S7 has in store for us?

Patch 2.4.2 PTR patch notes

GENERAL
New difficulty levels, Torment XI-XIII have been added to the game
Gold rewards have been adjusted:
Greater Rift 26 and up has been rescaled to a flat 3% increase per tier
Torment VII-XIII has been changed to match Greater Rift reward scaling
The cost to empower a Greater Rift has been reduced to match the new gold reward rate
The amount of gold dropped by the Gilded Baron Treasure Goblin has been reduced
Knockbacks now apply a flat 40% increase to crowd control resistances
Monsters cannot be knocked back if they are over 65% crowd control resistant
Powers that apply knockbacks continuously, such as Black Hole, can bypass this resistance if they already knocked a monster back successfully. These powers increase the crowd control resistance by 20% per knockback instead of 40%
The following changes have been applied to the Season 7 Journey:
Slayer
*The Greater Rift requirement has been reduced from 35 to 30
Champion
*The Greater Rift requirement has been reduced from 50 to 40
*The Nephalem Rift timer has been increased from 6 minutes to 7 minutes
Destroyer
*The Greater Rift requirement has been reduced from 60 to 50
Conqueror
*The Greater Rift requirement has been reduced from 70 to 60
Guardian
*The Greater Rift requirement has been reduced from 80 to 70
*The time limit to defeat Azmodan has been increased from 15 seconds to 20 seconds

A whole lot more here

Think I'll skip this season.

I'm playing a lot of Overwatch, a bit of WoW/expansion that's coming soon and catching up on some older/sales titles.

Hey guys,

I have had D3 on PS4 for a while now and have just bought D3 for PC to try out Seasons. Just a few questions...Is gameplay for seasons online only? Also, is it worth starting a season character right now? Anything else interesting about season play?

Thanks guys!
