A necromancer only arriving this time next year and a limited time only event where the diablo 1 dungeon is recreated in D3 using 16 levels of Ruins of Corvus repainted? Pathetic.
Hey there,
I am still kinda in shock and disappointed about the announcements...
I understand sure, Blizzard doesnt make a lot of money of the diablo franchise.
Lots of changes and replacements last couple of months in the developer team of diablo 3.
But in 2 years all they come up with are 1 class and 2 zones?!
Ok we had patches like 2.4 with new game changing mechanics (cube).
But since the launch of 2.4, almost year ago, give us some new gamemodes, mechanics (cube a like) something more than just 1 class, 2 zones.
Higher torment levels... i dont kmow.
The dissappointment also comes through the hype and tension build ober the last months.
Dice conspirancy, diablo 20th anniversary, tweet: "diablo fans will lose their **** blizzcon 2016!"... no news at gamescom at all and now all we get is
ONE CLASS and TWO ZONES?!
I forgot diablo 1 in diablo 3...well not really mentionable. play it through ones and done, will take only a couple of days of my playtime.
Edit:
Wasnt by the job listings the description somewhat like..."looking for designer for a new game in the diablo universe; for a unnannounced project diablo universe"
Did they change their plans?
Blizzard is doing exactly what they want, most of their time and energy into bloody World of Warcraft... and why not? It brings in a lot of money for them, makes a lot of business sense.
Reinstalling D2 I guess for that Necro experience while we wait until the next Blizzcon to play D3's Necro![]()
wait... what?? Is it not going to be available soon??
"2nd half of next year" with speculation it'll be roughly 4 seasons away, putting the release date around 12 months from now (if each season is 3 months long)
From what I've read the D1/Anniversary Event will take place in January
They will be available in the "Rise of the Necromancer Pack", which will also include a pet, two new character slots, and two new stash tabs. along with a portrait frame, pennant, banner shape, and sigil.
wait... what?? Is it not going to be available soon??
ok hold on...
"here's a new class and you can play it in a years time!"

When Blizzard rolled out a new version of Diablo 3 to its public test realm (PTR), it snuck in several graphics upgrades with the gameplay changes it announced.
Where previously there was just a checkbox to enable anti-aliasing, there is now a dropdown, as well as a box to enable SSAO, or screen space ambient occlusion.
With the new graphical options cranked to maximum, there is a marked difference. Everything looks crisper.
A comparison makes non-PTR Diablo 3 look downright blurry. Click on the images below to enlarge them.
For a side-by-side comparison, check out two comparisons posted on Imgsli with a character in town, and in a combat zone.
Not sure it's enough to get me back into it tbh...
I think the wife and I will be trying out Season 10 next week Friday, see if i can get 1 ancient ancient![]()
Messed around on the PS4 after the update. First drop was an "ancient ancient" ring with crap stats.
Arent they supposed to roll with perfect stats
Yes, but a ring with no CHC, no CHD and 650 VIT and DEX is still crap.
