Yes, but a ring with no CHC, no CHD and 650 VIT and DEX is still crap.

I'm sure that's going to be changed asap in a patch.

They should always roll with main stat + socket (except weapons which will come without sockets), but in the case of rings/neck that might not be what you want.

I don't think too much is new in terms of items, but there has been some massive QoL changes, such as an Armory to finally save your builds and gear (thank goodness) and most stackable items (such as crafting mats) are now just saved as a variable (yay more stash space).

Yeah, there's also some nice mods to maps so there's less caves etc. in favour of more open maps.
But even so, I think the season to rejoin will be in another 1-10 when the Necro rolls out.

I think the consensus is that in terms of build variety, Barbs are in the best spot, since no particular build outshines the rest. In terms of compared to the other classes, then they fall short.

I figure play whatever is the most fun for you.

Yea I watched Rhykker's video on the top builds, decided to go with Barb again.
I'm not doing too badly, but when you are playing with a Wizard with 'ok' gear and he just 1-2shots a GR70 Rift Guardian, I start to wonder about my choice.

I see you unlock the ability for primal ancients to drop for your char if you have completed a GR 70, does it have to be solo or is group fine?

Follow up question, does that mean that when you are doing GR70 and above a primal ancient has the possibility of dropping, or could it even drop in a T10 normal rift after unlocking?

I don't know about the solo/group aspect, but they said that once it unlocks you can earn them from anywhere.

I'm glad seasons came to console. I started playing S10 on my PS4 on Saturday, liking it so far

My goals for this season are:

• To be the first lvl 70 of anyone on my friends list (made easier by the fact that I told no one that it was a goal)
• To for once reach paragon level 800 or higher in a season. I think the best I've managed was some around 750 or lower.

I managed to do the first one by playing WD and going for massacre bonus. I even managed to get to 70 long before Oook, and I played quite poorly.

Currently, struggling my butt off to get the last few items just to complete a very non-optimal speed-farming build.

Managing to clear mid 60 GR's with ease with an incomplete gear set so getting a GR70 down shouldn't take long. Can see a lot of bounties coming up - my basic gearing strat is to get a duplicate of all my items and then reroll them until they are better than what I have. Swap out, rinse and repeat.

I don't get why people spend time running GR's well under what they are capable of - even at P350 I get a good 10 levels out of a GR63 - but similarly geared peeps are still running GR50 or even less.

Yeah I'm doing 60 somethings pretty easy now on 340 or something Paragon, so I should be able to hit 70 very soon.

For GR's (as well as NR's) you want to usually farm them lower than what your max is, e.g. doing them around the 4 minute mark. It uses more stones, but ups your average P-levels and shards / hour as you can easily faceroll everything.

Haha that was cheaty!

I'm enjoying the new Shadow set, so I'll probably see how far I can push it. I'll try to get closer to a full set of ancients, 4 odd gem/item upgrades...and maybe a Primal.
It usually also depends on what other games release, so if I don't get interrupted then I'll keep going.

Also just made it to 70 haha...had some issues on 67, but the rest went pretty smooth. The new Shadow build is pretty solid, you don't take 1/5th as much damage as you do on other builds.
