I'm really liking the Shadow set this season. As per my previous comment, it's by far the most lag friendly DH set of all time due to its survivability being so high (probably 50% better than any other set in any other season)

Also just made it to 70 haha...had some issues on 67, but the rest went pretty smooth. The new Shadow build is pretty solid, you don't take 1/5th as much damage as you do on other builds.

Shadow set eh!

Time to go back to my roots

May be asking for a boost at the weekend

Is that the one you get with Haedrigs Gift?

I cried a little last night, just as I was talking about this streamer getting a Primal Yang's in Season, I said yea I'll probably get a primal but it would be something I don't need...

Haha no, you get Marauder with the gift. But the Mara Grenade build is also very good, it immediately helps you to start farming a decent Torment level.

Thanks for the boost to 70 last night and starter Legendaries

Nice.

I'm probably Paragon 550 this season and while I'm getting very nicely rolled normal items I've only received 2 usable ancients (weapon+bracers). After than I think only helm which had crappy stuff on it.

So I'm not holding my breath for Primals.

Probably(/Hopefully) in the next season or N they'll add the ability to roll primals to different items.

Do started with a sader and got to 70p24 before calling it. Just wasn't feeling it.

Switched to shadow impale, wow. Really feel OP. A basic set of gear and I've cleared up to gr70 quickly getting to p500.

I'll hit a wall soon though, need drops now to really progress.

I've been plonking on with my WD. I know very little of the class, and there seems to be so many builds out there, it's taking me a while to figure out which works best for me. I've actually cubed stuff for one build, only to need the actual item for another. Getting to GR70 was quite an effort for me. Currently, I am just farming mats to craft weapons later and hope for something good.

Yeah it's cool, although as usual a bit of a solo build, so we're not really needed for groups until you hit 4 people. It's a pretty fast build to farm with as well, just switch out some of your passives for 2x speed and go Nemesis.

The weekend I managed to clear up to GR79 using only 2 ancients (weapon and bracers), and I can farm 78 at 100% success.

After that I got lucky yesterday and got an almost perfectly rolled ancient Holy Point, it took me forever to roll 14% Impale onto it. I also got some ancient legs/shoulders and now have 3 Caldesans of about 72, 74 and 79.

There are 2 issues with the build, the first is that you need to find an elite pack asap to kill and activate your Bane. If you get unlucky and don't get one, then even on a 78 my time drops by minutes. I now just basically go in, hit stuff asap to get my Gogok to 15, then run around to find some elites.

The second is that interestingly I'm not fazed at all with most elites and melee units, they can't do anything to me (with the exception of a few specialist melee enemies). But if the number of ranged units hits a certain number then I have to vault so much that my effective dps drops to 0. The mapset also makes a difference, on an indoor/tunnel map which is usually an issue they're ok since the groups are smaller and you can manage their sightlines...but on the open areas they can really screw you over.

Chat to Jaco. He knows his WD's like the back of his hand...

Picked up two primals so far, both useless for any build. The one will make a nice leveling weapon but that's about it.

Got 1 primal so far, a crusader shield from a bounty while on my DH.

You should switch over to Shadow, it's where the fun is at this season.

I've only found 1 Primal which I accidentally de'd, luckily it was only a Tyrael's Might.
