I'm used to Crusader (a DH player to avoid confusion) with his sentries melting everything, so it was a big surprise for me to be out DPS'ing you guys

But yes, Crusaders are insanely OP (or maybe I'm used to the tickling that monks do), so much damage output and once you get the full set Akkhans with decent CD it gets rather silly. Really brought the fun back into the game for me :D

got my first piece of Akkhans last night, stashed for future use

lots of mat drops are linked to bounties, so I usually do the bounty runs looking for the relevant quest, can get a bit tedious restarting games to get the right bounty, but that's the nature of the game if you really want the mat

Depends.

For example, Iron wolves mat is easiest in quest mode.

@Archer, have you tried that Unity yet?

Don't know how I would fit one in - both my RRoG and Nats are pretty much indispensable

Not yet, need the full Crusader set first so that I can dump the RoRG, and even then it'll be for solo only. In groups I'll use the RoRG, and dump either the shoulder (for Aughilds) or the chest (for Cindercoat, when I get one)

I have a level 67 Crusader who I abandoned pre patch....

Nah... Still like playing the DH

Picked up 20 percent fire strong arms which is cool plus the belt that blinds and shows us rattle and fire vault - fun

Oh, and kadala, 650 shards and still hunting.

Marauder pants....

3 wolves
Uber turrets
Dual wield

/dreams/

Man alive Crusaders are so insanely strong. I thought my DH did lotsa damage. I was so very wrong, seeing how Archer and the likes just stomp through T4 before us poor DH's even get a shot off in anger. @Africantech !

It's the full set bonuses and legend synergy. A DH with the sentry thing do crazy damage. When I run with Crusader's DH I feel like I dont need to do anything.

Seeing Archers sader way out DPS mine makes me really wanna get the full Akhans pieces! Considering that my crusader was level 1 on Friday night I'm more than happy with his progress...so much to look forward to whereas my monk is staring at this huge wall. Best decision I ever made.

Yeh well my barb is a on a bench now. Got all Best in Slot pieces on him. So playing demon hunter now. EQ set is just nuts. Especially if you get nice SoJ and Unity.

Haha AT! Your DPS on eu.battle.net - 999944. So close... So so close!! :D

Eh!

Where you seeing that?

Naw, I'm over 1m mark (without taking elemental into account)

[-]Was messing around with Raven Wing Bow and Quiver last night - might have left it equipped[/-]

Edit: I see what you're talking about. That's because I equipped the Strongarm's instead of my usual bracers and the Cord of Sherma instead of the other higher dps belt.

The proc's on the Strongarm and Cord give me more effective dps / killing power that the higher sheet dps

on a serious note, I notice a few of you guys are speed rifters, maybe I'm missing something but what's the point of ripping through a rift like there's no tomorrow?

Is it just a play style thing, as I'm quite content to clear a whole rift before moving on to the next one?

I think it's a play style (aiming for efficiency and max shards) - must confess I also prefer clearing to moving to the next (except for those crappy rifts where you have to keep backtracking or that one where the poison pools are the same colour as the ground  )
