I am in a similar situation. Deciding whether to drop 100mil (everything I have) on 1 great item in the hope that I will get more money to upgrade the other items .... or get 3/4 nice items.

BTW, gem prices are dropping again. I thought they banned all the dupers?

My 2c. You are still low on the plvls. That one piece of goldly gear ain't gonna improve your farming efficiency by much.

I would take that 100mil and get a farming build down. Max out on MF and get ready to do some farming. You will gain your first plvls quick and you can swap out MF as you go along.

Crusader should be able to give you some more advice on the particulars if what it is to run a max MF DH.

Is it just me having terrible lag in Diablo 3 EU like over 600 ms to 1000ms+ with Afrihost and Telkom and no line problems or congestion

Happens mostly after 5 pm but sometimes only starts after 10 pm

You can gear for mp1 for around 1mil with the current prices on the AH. It wont be easy but definately do-able. Try and get around 400-500 all resist, 30k-40k HP and 4000 armor. If you leave out magic find as one of the necessary affixes you can do this cheap cheap.

Make sure you main weapon is socketed with an emerald (the best you can get) and you stock up on critical hit chance and damage.
Cheap to get both options on gloves and amulets.

I am in same boat - found the most awesome Natalyas Reflection ring - MF, vital, and CHC and got outbid with 2 mins to go. Couldnt put in another bid as I needed 10mil more to make another bid. But he got a ring worth around 170mil for 100mil.

BTW guys - check out diabloprogress.com and cry

You either do that or bid the maximum you think the item is worth. Sometimes that pans out, but you can end up paying more than you would normally.

I do not like upping the bid unless I really have to.

I will bid 200k at the start just to avoid some people bidding 10k for an item that will sell for 1 mil +

Picked this up last night but gave it to the Wizard that was dragging my ass through MP5 with the help of two others.



Then I also picked up a well rolled Inna's reach that might go for around 4 mil
