I don't know jack **** about what it takes for an inferno wizard, but I think you should try make your wizard like this guys.

*** my! :wtf:

Posted that profile earlier :D

That is really insane damage..... I feel SUPER under powered when I see profiles like that

EDIT: @ Copa, I think that 2H weapon is going to hurt your DPS a lot. But I will hand it over so you can see for yourself :D

Hey AfricanTech, my brother is a wizard and the build he is running with at the moment is pretty fun, a perma freeze wizard. Below's a link to his profile at the moment, if you catch us online I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing you how it all works. Using this build he can survive MP10 as he is basically invulnerable unless he lets his shield slip, not saying he kills them fast or anything but he can survive lol. I must say this is also the most useful wizard group build I have played with so far, everything is frozen and slowed and your group gets faster attack, allows you to push the MP levels past where you should be for those key/uber boss runs. If you more on the solo side then the Archon build is for you I think.

Dnk, what's your style at the moment? Soloing? Grouping? Low MP? High MP? Does your build vary accordingly?

I'm trying to perfect MP1 Tempest Rush farming at the moment. I really like playing in group, but its hard grouping because alot of builds cant really keep up. I've done some runs with Archer with both of us using a TR build, but I'm kinda wondering how it would be running with a WW barb, if it is doable at all. My knowledge is also limited to a monk, is there some fundamental issue you could see why this wouldn't work?

Let me know if you keen to test tonight. :)

You must have made good friends with your local telkom techie over the last few months.

Edit: Dont feel too bad though, its not like Archer has taken the day off work and is going to be playing D3 the whole day...oh wait. ;)

Runs are slower because dnk has OCD, the pirate has to pickup every item and check every corner. The speed at which we mow through monsters is a little more faster. MP5 is the usual, but that's starting to feel like MP3 as the groups DPS climbs.

Skype is a must ;)

We prefer Teamspeak. :)

hmm, I wouldn't be able to run my TR build on those levels of MP and if you guys are WW'ing/sprinting away I wouldn't be able to keep up.

Edit: Although Teamspeak has been up to crap recently.

Finally broke 100k DPS :D
And my eHP went up too! And my HP went down, so its even better - the higher your eHP, and lower your normal HP, the more effective all your heals are

You should have kept that IK belt you picked up, the lifesteal will keep you alive against reflect damage mobs :p

Yes I admit I'm a loot whore :p Everything within reason must die, I can't help myself, the amount of legendaries that I've picked up from random trash is too high to ignore them, makes me twitch a little if I leave big packs around or let my whirlwinds kill things miles off screen :)

As for the original question, I group pretty much whenever there's ppl online, most commonly I play with Slooth (Monk) and my brother Filthy (Wiz) and last night we had Crusader join us with his DH which was a nice fit as we had no duplicates in the party.

At the moment I'm doing solo key runs on MP7-8, group runs commonly on MP5 although our DPS is getting high enough now for us to crank it up a little I think. Farming is pretty much MP5, the mobs are nice and soft but not soft enough to cause fury gen problems. As for builds I don't change it up really between solo & group at the moment, and then if I do the only thing I can really switch out is Overpower for Warcry, which is a big DPS loss for me as I basically have that on permanently for an extra 10% crit chance.

I hope those 20mb+ lines in the US are really bad to him!!!!!!! :D

Lol, I was using that as a semi-test to see whether my connection was working ok..........
Even though it failed, my other tests pointed to dial-up speed probs though.

Cool, I think I'm gonna stick doing my MP1 runs for now, but I might request an invite at sometime if I feel like switching things up.

To run higher MP's I need to go back to OWE for sure, swap some gear out which seems like a bit of a mission. I'm really enjoying the speed of my runs and I'm only getting quicker. I'm in the 50's plvl now and this is the first time I can recall in a long time that I've managed to gain a full plvl within a single nights worth of runs two nights consecutively.

Need to push up that MF so I can drop it on some of my gear. Really don't like not having close to max MF.

Wtf?

Is there something that you need to do before a key will drop?

I have killed the Keywarden in ACT III 2xMP2 3XMP1 2xMP5..... no key.

Add to that that I have killed the Keywarden in Act1 about 6 times on MP1 and also no key has dropped there, and I am feeling very unlucky :(

And yes I have done it with 5 Stacks of NV every time :p:D

I'm not statistician, but MP1 you only have a 1/10 chance of a key dropping so not getting one in 6 runs sounds perfectly reasonable. ;)
