I switched from a HOTA build to a WW build because of DR. Even with 9% LS crits for 700k+ will instantly kill you, theres no way you can mitigate it, which is why people mostly complain - it's not skill based, like moving out of a puddle. -_-

Despite the fact I kinda like it when glass cannons cry a bit, I do think its a bit lame. Mainly because the only solution is: Get better gear. With arcane, des, frozen, molten and most other monster affixes at least you can use a bit of skill dodging around and what not to survive.

I like it. In D2 there were mobs that owned you no matter how well geared and leveled you were. I enjoy the fact that it forces the less balanced guys to then follow some strategy other than stand toe to toe and hack hack hack, boom done in 2 seconds

It's really not a case of being a glass cannon, at least I don't see myself as one and I still croak if I don't notice that the monsters are reflects and use gloom in time. If I use one of my high DMG skills it's insta death and that's with close to 50k health and 500 AR.

I agree 100%. If I thunderclap into the middle of a horde back with pop my blind and sweeping wind and I dont realise they are RD I can die very easily if I dont get my serenity up in time.

Problem with that is that its still an unbalanced affix. Sacrificing DPS for LS or LOH or more survivability just because of one affix on mobs is kinda lame. It shows an imbalance.

I'm still on the fence though, suppose it does add an extra challenge.

What char/level you playing at? I'm looking to maybe level a wizard as well, maybe we can jam together?

I am playing my WD now through inferno but I die a lot to Reflex Damage. I cant use my bears, its an instant death?

How do you guys mitigate this? My Damage is like 30k and AR around 600 and LoH is like 500 from an amulet. My HP is around 20k which i know is too low.

I can take my barb's 700 Loh + 2.8% LS weapon and see if that works.

Any other gear to get lifesteal from?
Or up my HP?

The RD does not affect my barb at all so this is new territory for me.

Use spirit walk (with the increased duration rune) Run into the mob, pop spirit walk, spam bears, run away once spirit walk is up, wait for cooldown and repeat...Doing this 2-3 times I kill most reflect mobs on lower MP levels with 0 loh or lifesteel

And be sure to use the passive Spirit vessel if you do manage to kill yourself, it'll save you the first time haha

Very nice. I think I forked out 32mil for mine and those only have 170dex, but that was before the 1.05 patch. Things have dropped in price since then. Heck my old dual socket Manticore sold for only 20mil

Im not complaining, I dont die to RD with my barb ever so it was never an issue before.

Now it is something to think about.

What is the damage done by it? Is it 100, 75, 50%?

What is the best route to go first? Adding some HP or Lifesteal or LoH?

This char is still in act one inferno so he pretty much have hand me down gear.

So I will upgrade ss the finances improve...
