HAHA , well latency is around 230 the whole time while on cellc ! not bad at allllllllll. i use to jam D2 HC so i know right

my monkie died due to being overwhelmed in the crystal spire ARGGH and serenity was of no luck for the massive amount of pounding that went down. Was a sad day for me but eventually dusted myself off and jumped straight in for that meleehunter im working on now ^^ though a person can only truly work on a character once you hit 60.

I have 2 low level HC chars, level 23 Barb, and 18 DH, always good to group up HC, just in case someone DC's you can save their ass...Invite me Wikkels#2912 and I'll play with you this weekend if you have lower level chars

Yeah, you're a braver man then me! It's not just the lag but the bugs. Over the weekend I was fighting a nast horde of Moltens. After I had downed a whole bunch I needed to Tempest Rush out of the impending explosions. I thought I was home free but then my tempest rush just rubber banded on me (a known issue) and a found myself in the middle of all the explosions and I died.

Now that irritated me quite a bit. I can't begin to imagine what I would have felt like if that was a HC toon...

I stopped playing my monk since the last patch since defense dropped (armor halved) and now it dies so fast even on normal act 3 when before I could do it easily without dying

My monk fairing ok. I actually enjoy it even after the patch. STI nerf was annoying though. I can cope on MP3 but anything beyond that takes too long to kill so not efficient enough to item hunt or get xp. considering dumping some gold on set items but they're too expensive to even think about. Struggling to get DPS beyond 42k - maybe I should stop being so stingy with gold

not sure if I really want to finish the game 2 more times. They should have allowed to to select your difficulty after first trip...

If you are not playing for end game, then don't bother. This is a not a criticism directed at you, it's just how the game is designed, for better or worse.

You should really try get a hellfire ring. Even a badly rolled one will probably be better than a Leorics Signet and give you 35% bonus XP.

Of course, I'd love one - But since all I have at the moment are a couple of keys from act one and act two, it's simply going to have to wait.

What I am aiming for is a perfect XP gem, a hellfire ring, and the Signet - That should make Paragon a breeze.

Any help with the Hellfire story will be very much appreciated!

hehe, you supply the portals and I'll supply the pain!

In all seriousness, I'll help you out if you need help with the ubers or if you want to give it a go and punch above your MP to stand a chance of some better organ drops. I don't really need another hellfire ring at this point so I dont think I'll be farming for any portals myself. When I helped someone this weekend I didn't even bother to get 5 stacks before I did the uber.

yeah i switched to that from 1h and shield. better but my sustain is a bit low atm. using a dual shenlong's at the moment.

It's sad, I hardly use my hellfire ring any more...the Stone of Jordan is just too good against elites and I love the spirit regen, and the other ring is taken by a nats ring. It would have to be a beyond amazing Hellfire ring to make it worth it to lose my nats ring and the set bonus.

I did a true dps test this weekend by just facerolling azmodan and seeing how long it takes to kill him. Believe it or not, even though the hellfire ring adds 20k dps to my sheet I actually killed him 20% faster with the Stone of Jordan...:wtf:

Still cant get used to a monk using 2h weapon unless it's that scorn you have unless it's Inna's.

EndGame in a "SP" game?

Not to be weird, but please explain to me this whole endgame thing for diablo3. From where I sitting it's replying the same thing again and again.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that you cant trade softcore items with hardcore characters.

Different realm, different gold, different items, different AH etc etc.
