EndGame in a "SP" game?

Not to be weird, but please explain to me this whole endgame thing for diablo3. From where I sitting it's replying the same thing again and again.

Well I can't speak for everyone else but:

1) I enjoy gearing out my toon. It's an awesome seeing him get better and better. Definitely gives a strange sense of fulfillment. :)

2) Farming for the most part is pretty fun. Pushing yourself to go faster and become more efficient is a challenging. The better you become, the more you reap the rewards which is also a great feeling.

3) Being able to one day conquer the highest difficulty is also my goal in any "SP" game as you put it. That means Inferno MP10. (not to say I'll ever get there :p )

4) There is a rush when you see a legendary drop, especially some of the really good ones. Not only could it be something nice for your guy, it can actually earn you real money if thats your thing.

5) PvP - also not my thing, but a big thing for some

6) I'm tired of giving reasons I want to play now. :D

Diablom for me, has always been about the grind, and replaying the same thing over and over again as you put it. It's definitely not for everyone. Some people just do the single play through and call it quits. Each to their own. :)

DIABLO III - official

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that you cant trade softcore items with hardcore characters. ;)

Different realm, different gold, different items, different AH etc etc.

I sent you a friend request yesterday, you not get it?

Oh crap lol sorry! I thought you were insulting my gear ;)

No, not seen requests?

EndGame in a "SP" game?

Since when is an online only game, with millions of connected players and a public auction house based economy a single player game?

For better or worse, this is what the game is.

If you don't like it, don't play it. It took me a long while to get used to, is all I can say. :D

Paragon levels.

Gearing.

Making money (and items/gems/etc) for other characters.

Crafting Hellfire rings (I've yet to see one).

Ramping up MP, as much as you are able.

The bottom line is, I am still enjoying it - In fact, I've a long way to go until my puny character runs out of stuff to do.

By then, hopefully another patch will be out. :D

Yeah, you're a braver man then me! It's not just the lag but the bugs. Over the weekend I was fighting a nast horde of Moltens. After I had downed a whole bunch I needed to Tempest Rush out of the impending explosions. I thought I was home free but then my tempest rush just rubber banded on me (a known issue) and a found myself in the middle of all the explosions and I died.

Now that irritated me quite a bit. I can't begin to imagine what I would have felt like if that was a HC toon...

its not that bad ... you have to be prepared for the worst ! (like playing d3 while your data bundle has run out and you are fighting diablo on nightmare solo while winning with just around R0.20 left on your account before you put on that next data bundle)

yeah, this sailor has sailed every ship :p haha as soon as i see that lag bar turn yellow i tp back to town and wait it out .

all seriousness , yes ive had some rubber banding with the monk and ALOT with the DH and its only while using vault that it rubberizes so bad. while not using the skill i got away with a lot of kills ^^

It really did require a change of perspective for me to enjoy it, but I am digging it now, I must say.

Yeah, it's the small things for me. Like as I got more powerful, I went back to Act 1 Inferno and beat the #$&( out of the monstors that gave me grief, with a smile on my face the whole time.

Seriously though, glad you (and others) are enjoying D3!! I have taken a little breather (playing some MWO, STO, now Hitman as well) but will still be popping in, until I get back into full D3 mode. And so my cycle of Diablo continues.
