Yeah, the inflation seems pretty crazy atm. There's a huge difference in price to the low, mid and high dps builds. Low builds will cost you under 10mil, mid builds are looking 100-200mil and the high is starting to step into the billions. It's pretty crazy.

My first buy is going to be a 2 socket Depth Diggers, which should help me make a bit more money, while giving me a dps boost to over 100k at the same time.

a one socket one with high strength is way cheaper and if I were you that would be part of my last upgrades since the pants slot usually is a very low dps boost slot, even with max strength it is still much lower than upgrading your weapons/amulet/rings/head/gloves
I dumped 90% of my funds into upgrading my weapon(s) and scraped for the rest.

I love Depth Diggers... but I just cant afford to let go of my Ice Climbers, and the fact that they providing me 68k of eHP which is basically 25% of my total eHP lol

I have 160k unbuffed DPS, but only 36k hp. At this point I simply can't afford to lose HP/Armour/Resists and finding items that boost DPS without dropping those start at, well, a lot more than I'll have in the forseeable future. Also going the crafting route to try and get a few "cheap" upgrades...

I realise that, but I'm not going to be doing much upgrading if I don't get the gold income I need, so I'm hoping the boost in magic find will help me find a couple more legendary drops here and there, which should help with the income problem.

The more you have the faster you spend it Just think if you used the gold to snipe cheap AH's and sold the stuff to make more gold... I am by no means good at that, but most of my gear I have bought from items I play off against the RMAH and the gold AH.

I tried sniping briefly, and just got annoyed with the process.

I've no doubt it can be highly profitable, but I could not be arsed to sit around looking for stuff, and then having to haul out a bloody stop-watch.

I'm here to kill monsters, FFS.

I've now changed from CoB to Plague Bats (using a mojo and a one-hander), as I just got bored of CoB, and its tiny range.

My unbuffed DPS is about the same now (148K), and while it's a bit weird not having yellow crits all over the place, it's different and therefore slightly more interesting than the typical Skorn CoB build.

As always, I'm aiming for 200K unbuffed now. THAT is going to be a chore.

Exactly this, people sell on the RMAH to make a quick buck. Chance to pick up very good items for a fraction of their gold price. (convert gold to cash).

Nice little MP10 run with werries and VJB last night. Was the maiden /test run for my CM Wiz

3 legends (nothing über but hey! It satisfies that itch) and 2 plevels.

Yea some great fun went a lot smoother than I anticipated. After you left we cleared some more till there was nothing left to kill...
Only got two legendaries but the two paragon levels were nice (30-32).

Regarding the Uber run on Saturday... We seemed to manage fine on MP7, except for the Leoric and Magda run. Are there any surefire tactics to use when confronting these two? The two fatties aren't a problem and Khulle and his buddy are taken care of with some sneaky tactics. I take the big b@stard up top and let him chase me around while the three others pour DPS onto Khulle, then they come along and finish him off.

But Magda and Leoric are a tough nut to crack. Leoric is tough with his tp'ing around the screen and Magda with those little blue flies, not to mention those freakin arcane sentries. That run is more an exercise in resurrection than in earning an item piece!

Havent read this thread in a while so sorry for replying to an old post, but its much much much easier to kill SK first. The flies from maghda do almost nothing (compared to the other sources of damage present), and dodging lasers is easy too. But SK can one shot you when he does his invincible walk, and his TP whack a mole move can also hurt. So just focus SK, move away when he does the walk, dodge lasers as required. Easy easy

As for resurrection games I've had to resurrect my entire team twice in all the uber fights, good times!
