Dont think he has the pace, Toure is ok for this game because Liverpool have quite a deep defensive line. If Liverpool wanted to play a higher line or press up higher, Toure will probably get exposed.

Doesn't need to be as mobile as a cb. If his brief is to sit and protect even more so. Needs to read the game and be a good tackler.

Toure is more mobile than Lucas and more dynamic. Has an eye for breaking the line and laying off a pass. His positional play is good as long as he doesn't need to man mark.

As a fsuckn option for DM I think so. It's a problem position, we need options. Any alternative to Lucas is welcome.
