Decent. Need 2 results now to qualify. Tough but going on the first round matches, can be done. Another goalless game. F0k.

Except for the complete inability to take shots in the first half, best display by the backs for the season - looked calm and solid.

Yoh gunners were 3-0 up and ended up drawing 3-3. That must of been hard to take

Not a bad showing by the supposed "B" team, even if it meant that Rodgers finally backtracked on his statement to never park the bus. Guess he does value results over style when it matters.

No bad showing? If it wasn't for Migolet, Liverpool would have been 7-0 down by half time...

A keeper is the last defender, every team has one by default. Shots on target does not mean a sure goal prevented. It is his job to prevent the final ball going into the net.

Mignolet did nothing special (that any other keeper would have), one bit looked a bit spectacular when he was positioned wrong.

Im quite happy with the starting line up Rodgers went for. Really don't see why everyone is going on about it. Whether we played a full strength squad or last nights team, we would have lost. What was surprising was the way we passed the ball around last night. Looked very confident and defence looked solid as well. I personally think we should keep that back 4.

Let's see how we do against Chelsea...

Because it goes against the spirit of the competition- you want your best players to be playing in the bigger games. This was probably Liverpool's marquee fixture for the group stages.

Also, another reason why people are criticising Rodgers is because he talks pretty big about Liverpool and their European pedigree. Playing a "B" team against the defending champions indicates that you have a clear inferiority complex, regardless of how he wants to dress it up. Lest we forget how Mourinho was criticised for his decision to field a weakened team against Liverpool in April.

It also means he's a pragmatist, something you have to be at times when managing a football club.
