Wasn't Suarez suspended for a bit in the first half of the season? Also, the second half of the season is when the bigger clubs start to fall off (except Fergie's United) due to having played so many competitions/not having a break. Liverpool didn't have this problem.

Don't care about the other clubs. He got it right eventually. His inexperience is showing. But when he was appointed I knew this. Wasn't expecting anything in the champs league since his been pretty average in Europe thus far. If things align we can even qualify so that's not so bad.

He will get leeway im sure. His a talented young manager still learning. That much is obvious. Too early to write him off though.

Oh smokey fsuck you for that tirade a couple of pages back. If you have butthurt for your treatment at school go take your shyte attitude to those guys/girls. And if you choose to paint us all like that then so be it.

Rodgers has and still has my 100% support and backing even if some of his decisions lately are a tad strange.

I still think he is right man to manage us.

I see Dowd up to his usual tricks.

A blind man would have given Swansea a penalty.

Fcking ridiculous

Really, you need me to point it out? That selling your perceived best players or player somehow means the club has lost ambition. Its even more ironic considering Liverpools current situation after selling Suarez.

Right but he definitely did say it

Ok, Il admit that I was wrong in thinking he did not say it. Subsequently I also admit it was a stupid thing for him to say. So apologies......

Just wanted to pop in here and tell you guys not to worry. You'll do loads better next season, when you don't have any European commitments. :)

No one wants to live in Liverpool :(

:D

Only Alexis Sanchez, of those originally targeted, slipped through the net with his decision to join Arsenal apparently not about a lack of financial clout with Liverpool having offered £15,000-a-week more than the Chilean now picks up at the Emirates Stadium.

"They look at where they want to live, they look at all these social factors and football as well," said Rodgers, unhappy that Gary Cahill was not penalised for a clear handball following Steven Gerrard's shot. "That is something we can't control that.

This comment from that article just says it all...

Manquillo is the rare example of where our scouting pool actually got it right, he looks a great find and has already shown much improvement. Unfortunately he didn't cost £20 million, so he'll never be taken seriously by Rodgers
