@BassTunedToRed: .@KeithKehoe Another great performance by Lucas - most tackles (7), interceptions (6) and ball recoveries (12) by any player on either side.

Snatched a draw. Defence was shocking, Skrtel a big liability, Gerrard again from deep in his own half passes the ball backwards to the opponent (Similar to his slip last season but this time he passed the ball)
Clip by Lucas was similar to the clip by the Brown. Sterling seems to have taken Ashley Young's how to dive handbook...

Didn't watch the 1st half, due to Supersport having streaming issues. But if there is an up side to all of this, we got another clean sheet :D

Sterling is a good player, but sometimes he just tries too much, hopefully this will rectify itself with experience.

I see again that people pick on our Defence and Gerrard (who was a sub) and Ballo but fail to look at others.
1. Hendo - completely off, yes he runs, but thats all. We should try Lucas and Gerrard as atleast Gerrard can control the game.
2. Coutinho - i dont understand how this guy has just lost it. He has done well on the left, so leave him there, else play Marko.
3. Lallana and Lambert - just don't do enough - they dont go looking for the ball - almost like they scared of it.
4. Sterling - He is still a lightie - he also looks better the the center.
Against Sunderland - they were the better team in possession - which asks the question WHY?
The reason is players like Hendo and Allen are OK at everything but not breakers like Lucas/Masch or Passers like Gerrard/Alonso.

Moved the ball too slowly and sunderland kept their shape very well. They also kept the ball very well and created one or two good chances, not sure why Wikham felt the need to go to ground so easily.
Team is not flying at the moment (understatement) but first things first is to stop the leak, then get the fix and get going once more. Big game tomorrow night.

But isn't this an every week thing ? Put 10 players in the box and then nobody available to counter

"It is an opportunity for the players to write themselves into folklore by winning the game and ensuring they get into the next round, because that is the objective."
Rodgers saying some weird things this year.
Maybe he got away with some bad statements last year because of how the team was performing.
But really, folklore, for getting out of a group where you were favourites for second spot?

I wonder if he drinks too much alcohol.....

Folklore!

Despair and desolation is what I feel

See we've left Lallana out of the starting eleven. Henderson still in despite his poor form.

I do not understand what Rodgers is doing with the team. Akescpt pointed out that our expensive signings are filling in the role of squad players, it is a strange situation.

Does anyone on the LFC coaching team notice how easily the opposition can stting together these ping pong passes. Just stand off the opponents for a few seconds for goodness sake. You cannot commit three men to close down a single player and throw yourself all over the place.

FFS. And such irony, it was from a string of ping pong passes. It is so, so predictable. I am at a loss for words.
