Think Pool are trying to play it cool and not desperate for Dempsey, on the other hand Fulham need to sell him before transfer deadline. Rodgers may be waiting to see if he can get him at a bargain on deadline day.

Rodgers did say that he was looking to bring in a few more before then.

Dempsey is a good player and all of that, but do you really think we need him. Will all the midfielders we have already. Or are we going to use him as a winger or striker ?

Having the same thoughts as you man. The appeal that I could in Dempsey is that he could play the "Kuyt" role. Can play out wide or through the middle, presses well, gets back when needed and most of all experience. Plus he banged in quite a few last season. Which is anti-Kuyt.

Would be happy with him in the squad, wouldn't be sad if he wasn't.

He can play pretty decently as a wide forward. I really think we need at least another striker and another winger.

Thank goodness we finally have a pretty decent midfield :D

Watching Spearing + Adam was painful.

Well he hadn't played much in the 1st team up till then. Shelvey is pretty decent under Rodgers. I quite like him. As well as the fact that him and Sterling only cost 3m together :D

I get a bit nervous every time he gets the ball..not too sure where it's going lol

Waiting for official confirmation, but it is looking like we picked up Samed Yesil, 18 year old German forward from Bayer Leverkusen. One for the future.

Nothing official yet.
