Heh!

Scoreline flattered Spurs in the end - we should have scored at least 3 more.

On to the quarters lads and lassies

We could be title challengers if we learn how to bury teams and how to keep clean sheets

I think our overall strength relies heavily on a an injury free campaign to key players ( Matip, Hendo, Mane, Firmino, Coutinho, Lallana, Clyne)

Every teams strength relies on a relatively injury free run for key players

One thing proven last night, Moreno has no footballing intelligence. Good win for us with a young team. Ejaria looks to be one to watch, had a good game.

True , I watched him closely last night , No positional sense , look at that move where that guy nearly scored and he miscontrolled , Moreno was at the half way line ....

that was a TOTALLY different 11 to saturday. 11 different players that started. i only realized that towards the end. they played well. they ripped them to shreds in that second half. still a crappy conversion rate (share this trait with the first team). no wonder klopp was pleased. any one of them can walk into that first team and put in a shift, except for that effing moreno *spits*.

wanted ings to score though. to cap a great comeback journey. hopefully he remains patient. got a lot of heart. what was puzzling is that last night we created plenty of chances for sturridge. when the first team plays we don't create as much for him. yes we scoring goals without him but strikers just get into different positions.

also realized that when he doesn't play their are no defense splitting passes happening. like with his second goal, no one is making those runs. same with his first goal, no one is getting into those positions. seems like even when he plays we play like his not playing. expecting him to get involved like a midfielder when he isn't one. truth be told when we were wasting like that on Saturday i was looking around for a striker just to get the damn ball into the net, yes his conversion rate sucked last night, but he is usually more clinical than that. at the moment though he seems to be plan b.

the sturridge conundrum.
