Not looking our best today I must say, but these are the games you grind out. Stoke actually played well without their usual parking the bus.

We really lack a class goal keeper and defender. Migs and Karius not the answer atm. Lovren guilty of Walters drifting past him for the goal. I still think Klopp must buy Van Dijk even though he will cost a load of money. For me he is the best defender atm, I would rather spend big on a proven world class defender in the EPL. Matip and Van Dijk will form a formidable partnership at the back. Then get Hart or Bergovic

Scoreline not a true reflection of the game actually, but we take what we get. Good finishing from the boyz

Good win, but as commentator said at the start of the game, Saturday's game and its importance was to be measured by the result of this one.

Would love to know what Pep's thoughts were prior, and post watching us play.
Not what he will tell the media, his honest thoughts.

Lallana once again excellent, but again for me, Winjaldum was superb. I love how simple he makes the game look.
With Studge back. Can fit, Coutinho hopefully back soon, the bench starts to look stronger again.
Will miss Mane bucket loads though.

Yeah, read it this morning also, probably to cover for Mane.

Lucas off to Inter apparently. Loan deal, but it will probably he's sending off too.

Always liked him as a player.
Fast, direct, doesn't mind taking on the player and can play in tight spaces. Just seems to not have progressed under Wenger as many thought he would. Same can be said of Walcott as well. Strange as both had bags of potential. Ox still only 23, and I for one would be very keen to see Klopp work with him. Would be a good option along with Mane and Ojo in the wide position.
