What's more interesting is that, at the start of the game we had scored 25 goals all season, the same as Wolves. :erm: Chelsea have scored 41 and Arsenal 39.

Which goes to show how bloody well we are defending.

So whats the bet we aren't going to hear much about the Man Utd fan who was arrested for racially abusing a Stoke player on Tuesday night?

Also, I've just read that no charges are going to be pressed against Stewart Downing...good news I guess :D

What a twat. Hope they jail him.

Yep. Hows this for hypocrisy:

1)Fan shouts racist abuse at players on Tuesday, has to be in court the following Wednesday.
2)John Terry shouts racist abuse at Anton Ferdinand (captured on camera) in October 2011, court date set for July 2012.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Also not sure why Terry can get his case adjourned to after the Euros but Redknapp has to have his trial during the EPL season. Seems unfair (guilty or not)

Wasn't Harry first charged in 2008 or something?

Capello won't last much longer. New manager and a new captain will follow.

Short term Stevie is the obvious choice as long as he reaches some sorta form.

Long term Eng needs stability and Hart is a good bet.

Only problem is that Hart might play and have a few nightmare moments and get kicked out.

Hmmm... let's think about this for a second. The witnesses in the case against fans are... fans. The witnesses against Terry are players. The players have just as hectic a schedule as Terry does so the judge didn't just think about Terry playing, he took into account the travelling of all the players involved.

Sometimes... just sometimes... it pays to think about things before you post.

Umm, the witnesses against Terry are pretty much everybody who watches TV, and as I recall it, it was a fan who actually pressed charges (I stand corrected on this one)

If it was just the TV evidence, then the trial would have happened sooner. As it stands, other players are witnesses (both QPR and Chelsea) and they have their commitments as well. I know Ivanovic was called as a witness and Cole. Not sure about other people, though I'm pretty sure there are QPR players involved as well. I mean honestly... if it was as open and shut as that... then it would already be shut.
