Nice ninja edit, was going to ask what about Hernandez?

Dribbling, twisting, turning, going past defenders.

No, I didn't know exactly what you meant, so I assumed you meant in terms of being clinical. Then I wondered if you meant something else so I edited.

Suarez for all his attributes can be terribly wasteful in front of goal.

Nah, being clinical is not a strength of any Liverpool player.

EDIT: He actually has scored 10 in all competitions. You really need to check your facts before posting, it makes you look stupid.

6 LG, 1 FAC, 3 LC = 10.

Incase you hadn't realised yet, he has been banned for 9 games this season. He is damn good player, show me someone who is better inside the box than him?

9 was just a random low number I gave off the top of my head. I'm not a Liverpool supporter so why would I know how many goals he's scored?

So what if he was banned for 9 games? What about the games he has played in? In the games he has played, as Randhir said, he hasn't exactly scored a ton of goals. 24 games played this season, only 10 goals.

Rooney, Van Persie, Demba Ba, Aguero, Dzeko, Adebayor, Yakubu and even Dempsey have a better goals to game ratio than him.

The match last night was not our best but it was a great performance. We are showing signs of brilliance I am glad to see Carroll is finally coming to his own. The goal from his LEFT was a stroke of genius and then becoming provider for Suarez. Slowly Andy is showing his worth. Problem being we need to feed him ball in the air. Suarez can handle the low balls. If they link up in future games like they did last night I can see some silver in the cabinet this year

and that goal transpired because Downing for once beat his man turned the defence and whipped in an accurate cross. In other words he did what a quality winger is supposed to do. Now if we can get him to do it regularly and another winger do it from the other side Carrol will smash them in all day.

As I said at the start of the season great him some space and let him pounce on the ball and he'll score. You don't have to bother with feeding him in the air.

Free forum. Go take a look at the amount of Liverpool supporter posts in the Manchester United thread.

LOL, not helping your cause. If you gonna spew stats, try to be accurate.

So anyway, back in to last night. We didn't look outstanding, but got a great result. The Suarez pen was terrible, thank fsck it wasn't important for us to score at that point. I do think the 3 OG's really made the scoreline a but flattering, but it was from sustained pressure. Carroll us getting there.

About to be flamed, I really hope we sell Suarez in the summer... He us too much pt, and I don't think he has reached his proper form since coming back from suspension.

We still got the job done. 3-1 without the own goals is still a convincing win.

Yeah, other than the last OG which was really poor from Brighton, we got the goals from strong pressure and good play. Awesome result.

Come on you reds, so looking forward to Sunday.

Don't forget we also kept our record-breaking missing penalties and hitting the woodwork thing going. ;)

8 games to sit and watch is an eternity. Was also frustrated with him at the beginning as well. But he got better as the game progressed. On to wembley! #ynwa

Haha, of course :D

Just imagine we get everything right in one game...

Thought Adam was quite good yesterday, his range of passing is phenomenal! Henderson was complete rubbish though. He was very poor for most of the game.

For most of the season maybe? I don't see how he is the next Gerrard...

He has games where is quite tidy and efficent. Nothing spectacular though.

Jonjo Shelvey is much better than Hendo. Shelvey is gooood! :D

That could be explained by the fact the team actually got forward in the second half and he didn't have to spend 80% of the time defending.

As Henderson he was played out of position again so I dunno why anybody would expect a quality performance

True, Adam actually had people to aim his passes towards.
