Disappointed with the performance of Suarez. Thought he would do better, but I think everything that's happened to him in the evra case has affected his game. After Adam's penalty I was starting to feel the pressure but in the end I guess I'm just happy we won it. YNWA

Downing + Johnson had good games.

Midfield lacked any cohesion....as usual....

Upfront Suarez and Carroll were just horrible.

Bellamy + Kuyt should have started and the game would have been won in normal time.

Kudo's to Cardiff for making it a good final.




All that matters is a win .... and the trophy. Nobody remembers losing finalists ....

I think we deserved to win considering the teams we beat to get here.
Agree with our forwards, Caroll especially was clueless and did not make things happen and always behind the game, no striker's instinct.

I didn't think we were playing badly until we switched right off after Kuyt's goal... We were our usual self, loads and loads of opportunities, just no finishing. I thought Downing was fantastic, Johnson was good, in fact the back four were all pretty good. Stevie, Charlie and Luis looked tired and off their game, Carroll got very little service from anyone but Henderson was just plain c**p. Love the NASA joke 'bout Adam's penalty, that was an aberration, and three off the post for Cardiff was the very last thing I expected.
Again, silverware is silverware and I'll take it... Let's hope this starts something and we can all start calling Wembley "Anfield South" again.
