Carded? He was actually pulling out of the tackle when the cheat tumbled from the air disturbance. His feet were pulling back on realizing he didn't get the ball and probably knowing the cheat would dive.

The ref was not in a position to make a fair call there either, his view of the keeper was blocked by Suarez

The point is that any player from any team would have gone down in the same situation. The ultra-slowmo with zoom showed that there was minimal contact. Did he make a meal of it? Yes, just like 99% of other players do.
