If anything Kenny = FSG have brought some stability to LFC which we needed.

and a disastrous transfer policy

Start judging things from next season onwards, the next 2 or 3 seasons are for rebuilding and restructuring we just need to be patient. This isn't Chelsea/Man City :)

Well I'll leave the "I told you so" for then. ;)

The Spaniard, who was at Everton for six years before leaving last summer, collided with Jordan Henderson in the second half and after lengthy treatment was carried off on a stretcher.

He was taken to hospital in the city as Arsenal's medical staff were concerned about a possible neck injury but he was released later that day. Manager Arsene Wenger has ruled him out for a week to recover from concussion.

"I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their help and friendship towards me on Saturday," wrote Arteta in an open letter on Arsenal's website.

"After my accident on the pitch, the Arsenal medical staff did a great job, together with everyone at Liverpool Football Club.

"From Anfield, I was taken straight to the Aintree University Hospital, where they checked me, just as a precaution.

"Everything was fine and I was able to travel from the hospital and join up with my team-mates for the train journey back to London.

"I've since looked back at the TV images of when I was being taken off and just want to show my appreciation to the Liverpool fans at Anfield.

"It is touching to receive that response from the fans of a great club when I am leaving the pitch injured. Thank you.

"I also want to thank Pepe Reina and the Liverpool players who have sent me messages of support and friendship, this again is really touching and just shows class from a great football club.

"And very importantly, a message to all the fantastic Arsenal fans, not only all those at Anfield on Saturday who were brilliant, but also those who have sent me many messages since Saturday.

"It is hugely appreciated. I cannot tell you how much this means to me.

"It must have looked very serious to everyone as I left the pitch on a stretcher, but I'm pleased to say that I'm fine now and hope to be back on the pitch very soon. Thank you everyone."

Well done to all involved

Paris St Germain's billionaire owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed the Ligue 1 club hope to bring Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain to the Parc des Princes this summer.

Suarez and Higuain top PSG's wish list for next season, following on from the recent transfers of Javier Pastore, Thiago Motta and Alex.

In an ominous sign for the club's rivals, Al-Khelaifi, chairman of Qatar Sports Investment, says the forthcoming summer's spending spree is just the beginning of increased investment over the next "five or six years" as PSG attempt to become a European powerhouse.

"We are already looking at the market for next season," Al-Khelaifi said. "We have clear targets in mind. It is true that we want Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain. Our real short-term targets are to win the Champions League and find a new Lionel Messi.

"We will spend what is normal for a top-class club. We prefer to invest a lot and immediately. In the next five or six years, we still spend this amount. Then the investments will slow."

PSG missed out on signing David Beckham, Carlos Tevez and AC Milan's Alexandre Pato in January, but currently lead Ligue 1 under new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

we could do with Higuain

Him and Suarez definitely look like they could work well together.
But I'm not sure any one would leave Real Madrid who are leading la liga will qualify for Europe. Psg are doing the same where as Liverpool are still struggling. Even if we put a bid in for him I doubt he will be happy to come to us.

Which is why 4th spot at least is crucial.

thats a bloody sad statement that...makes me sigh..progress we have had yes but aaaai. we have forgotten how to score..

Progress?

Dare I point out

the club is only 4 points ahead of Woy's West Brom.

Closer to the bottom than the top

Further behind the leaders now than we were at the end of last season

Are on course to score one point less than last season.

Not encouraging. Hard facts to swallow :(

Not pleasant that. And he put the final nail in the coffin with that win.

Everyone is complaining after a half a season. Yes we should have done better, yes maybe Kenny should use diffferent tactics. But I think we are getting better. We definitely need a decent finisher. We are creating the chances, but we not finishing it. If all the goals that hit the post went in, I think everybody would be singing a different tune.

Half our team is new and haven't played together before this year and I believe if they can play together longer they will get better.

Guess some dodgey buys, but most of them are still young and they can only get better. Have faith guys and like a few people said. Judge the team after next season. Let us not be like Chelsea and change our Manager like we change our underwear
