Big news this week being that of Babels frustration and do you blame the guy? Fine when he has been given the chance (60min from the 1st game) he hasnt shone, & quite frankly Yossi and Riera are better attackers from the left, but as some you guys said already he needs more game time. Lucas plays like crap week in and week out but Rafa stands by his side and says his getting "better" even at times he claimed Lucas was our best player! WTF is he smoking? Babel must be getting irrate seeing this fool in the start 11 every week thinking whats he doing that Lucas isnt?
I think Rafa has a problem where by if he has a clash with a certain player he tends to shun them to the point they get frustrated and want to leave. His done it with Crouch (who IMO was a priceless asset), Robbie Keane, Pennant & Im sure now Babel and Riera, he will come out and say he needs them but wont blink if he needs to sell them.
With regards to our new midfielder that hasn't touched the ball as yet, I cant wait to see him in action. I watched quite a few Roma games last season to see how Riise was doing and this guy stands out. His like a Gerrard but could be better! Lets hope he adapts to the EPL well, we could see him slot into Gerrards place behind Torres and that will bring Steve back into CM which will see Lucas demoted to the bench
