Gareth Bale to make stunning move to Manchester United

That's according to Sunday Express journalist John Richardson, who was speaking on United's official TV station MUTV.

United boss Louis van Gaal wants to make the Real Madrid superstar his marquee summer signing.

And Richardson said: "I think it’s almost a done deal to be honest.

"I know somebody very close to Gareth Bale and the public are not hearing the real thing.

"He’s very unhappy there and he’s unhappy with his treatment."

Bale cost Real a world record £85m when he joined from Tottenham in 2013 and went on to help them win the Champions League last season.

But large sections of Real fans have turned on him this season and accused him of not working hard enough for the team.

President Florentino Perez has backed Bale, but the winger is known to be unsettled in Madrid and open to a return to the Premier League.

Bale was abused by fans as he left the Bernabeu last night after their Champions League exit to Juventus.

The Welshman missed several key chances for his side in the 1-1 draw, a result which saw Real crash out 3-2 on aggregate.

He was whistled during the match by frustrated supporters.

And as Bale attempted to drive away after, fans screamed abuse at his car.

Better be a bargain involved...there are bigger priorities to be spending on than wide forwards.

Gundogan's girlfriend drops MUFC move hint

Ilkay Gundogan's girlfriend has hinted the Borussia Dortmund midfielder could be set for a summer move to Manchester United.

Sila Sahin posted a picture of an airport departures board displaying 'Manchester' with the caption 'Wo bin ich?', which translates to 'where am I?'

Gundogan has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford after Dortmund confirmed the 24-year-old will not sign a new contract with the German club.

Who would he join in Spain though, only top 3. Barca has ban, cant see Madrid buying him right now, and think he has bigger clubs than Atletico looking for him?

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with young French defender Dayot Upamecano.

The Old Trafford club tried to sign the France Under-17 international on deadline day in February but the move fell through due to an admin cock-up.

French paper L'Equipe report that the deal is now set to go through in the summer but a fee has yet to be agreed between United and Ligue 2 outfit Valenciennes.

A £340,000 deal was brokered between the two clubs in the winter so a similar offer should suffice.

Fock it we should interview players before we buy them and ask them who they support as a kid if they say barca or madrid we say "don't call us we will call you "☺

Looks like Sami Khedira is available on free transfer great as a backup to Carrick and Blind :)

Honestly, he's not worth the money. His wage demands, as a WC winner, will be ridiculous.

There's a reason he doesn't make our starting 11.

Not to mention the injuries he's had this past year.

Utd can afford better.
