Fsk off Fellaini, dirty idiot. Also the Hull guy who punched Jones in the stomach needs to see a ban.

Valdez needs game time desperately...looks a bit off the pace.

If Valdes is suppose to replace De Gea... LVG needs to get his head checked... Shoddy prodding and catching by him... few good saves but his definitely NOT on the same level as De Gea

Neither was De Gea when he started  ...but point taken, he's not on the same level yet.

Jeez. His first game for us. Have some patience

Rumours going around that we're after Nicolas Gaitan from Benfica (winger).

Van Gaal: Manchester United transfer plans are in place

Man Utd manager Louis van Gaal says his summer plans have been finalised as he jets off on holiday after the season came to a close at Hull.

Louis van Gaal has jetted off on holiday and left his United transfer imports and exports plans with the Reds hierarchy.

The Old Trafford manager has outlined his wish list to executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and also told those players in his current squad who won’t be needed for his second season assault on the Premier League title and Champions League that they can look for another club.

Van Gaal hopes for a lot of movement on his mystery list but admits it might not be a smooth summer.

“I have talked with every player. Those I think I have to talk to,” he said.

“The transfer period is a process. I know which players have to go and which players have to come but you never know if they go or if they come because it is dependable on a lot of aspects.”

United have already signed up R460.71m winger Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven and the first departure looks to be Radamel Falcao.

The striker was not in Van Gaal’s 17-man squad on duty at Hull City and is believed to have already been informed that when his loan period expires United will not activate the R792.43m permanent move agreement they had set up with Monaco before his disappointing four-goal term at Old Trafford.

But Van Gaal would not confirm the Colombian’s exit.

“I am not saying anything today. Today we have to concentrate on this match and not about the decisions we have made. You shall hear it at the proper time when Manchester United wants to say something.”

If De Gea leaves... you really think his our new number 1 - I sure as hell hope not. As a backup yes, but as our new number 1, no thanks. I'd rather we see a 19 year old making those mistakes than a 33 year old

Its well known Valdes is weak under the high ball, hes an amazing shot stopper and great with the ball at his feet though. Hes a great player to have in the squad and LVG has already said if DDG leaves there will be a replacement. Stop all the hating on Valdes, he did fine for a debut.
