All this hate on Valdes but he has played 1 game in the top leagues in the last 14 months or more... Was bound to have nervous moment etc. He is one of the best in the world, really wouldnt be upset if he is our number one next season. Just needed to get through that first start for the club and for himself after so long out.

I dont mind him, he is the kind of box to box midfielder we could use if we dont find a like for like replacement for Carrick (that can pass like Carrick but faster and more active)
