Southampton have a picture of Schneiderlin returning to pre-season today. Might be to empty out his locker and say goodbye though?

No i don't things are at that stage yet, they could be towards the end of the week though. Southampton are probably also preoccupied with the Clyne deal as well.

Its not trolling but more like engaging in the banter (when the opportunity presents itself) that makes the rivalry so sweet. I can partake in decent chats as well unlike what KOPITE does

United already bid last week for Ramos and it was rejected so either Sky are very late to the party or this is a new bid. Judging by the fee they are reporting its the old bid.

Seems they are trying to get more cash from United, at least that is one way of interpreting it.

Depends, they might have felt there wasnt enough substance to report on the bid last week and they can only now. The bid isn't more than the old one so i cant see how its a new bid. The same stuff about Ramos wanting to join was also reported last week.

RAMOS WANTS UNITED MOVE

More on tonight’s breaking story that Manchester United have bid 40.15€m for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to Sky sources.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Graham Hunter says the Spain international wants to move to Old Trafford and it looks very likely he’ll be joining.

"Ramos has told Madrid directly that he is absolutely and completely committed to leaving the club this summer, that he specifically wants them to begin negotiations with Manchester United and that he doesn't want them to negotiate with anybody except Manchester United.

“It is a very firm display of intention from Manchester United. In Ramos they want someone who will form part of a firm spine of the team, who knows how to win, who has experience of winning, adding character and talent to what we saw was a regeneration under Louis van Gaal last season.

"Ramos is the focal point of that development and that's why they have made the bid. Real Madrid can be under no illusions that Ramos wants to go to Manchester United and he expects them to comply.”

True. Graham Hunter says there has only been one official bid and that Spanish media were lying about other bids.

On Schneiderlin..

Koeman has hinted that United have made an offer but he made it clear that Louis van Gaal will have to work harder if he is to get his man.

Which loosely translates to, "We want more money for him..."

Wish we would get these done already. I Like the names being close to joining, with Sneiderlin and Ramos we will fill the 2 biggest holes in the squad with amazing quality. Now just a good RB and GK if de Gea leaves.
