I'm definitely concerned about the lack of transfer activity as well, but...I am also going to breathe and look at whats taken place thus far..

- LVG has publicly stated he has players in mind and we will buy and sell
- ED has shown that he can tie up big deals for big players
- The window officially opens now
- Pool are the busiest and have only confirmed Milner , Ings and Fermino
- No big clubs have completed any significant business as yet
- Our transfers will always be more high profile and dragged out for more money it seems -We should
pay the big money as have it and get done with it. The other side is, do we allow ourselves to get
bullied into paying over the odds for players (we get rumored with everybody and their dog it
seems)..I dunno, thats for the ppl running the club - as fans we like and are excited by new players
and success but their is method to how these deals are done

So I will wait and see before blowing a fuse as the transfers from last year were a great boost to the way we are willing to do things. The rumours will not end but I have a feeling we are working on our preferred targets in the background ready to make official announcements soon

TBH apart from a CDM and CB I don't think we really need more signings this season... a RB would be nice, another striker would be great a Vidal why not

Exactly why I will wait and see what exactly did LVG list as the players we need.

I think striker is up there with a CB and CDM - Could argue that a RB is also up there. So 4 essentials

The transfer window is stupid, i have always thought so, all transfer business should start after season ends and tied up before new season starts. So start 1 June and end July. This business of buying players when the season has started is just bollocks imo.

So no January transfer window is what you're saying?

Your idea wont work anyway due to international tournaments.

I think it's disruptive, too. Loans shouldn't be affected, though: but should be limited to finding temporary replacements for squads with a lot of injuries during December/January - like ours :p

Sky Sports...

Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger could still leave Bayern Munich for Manchester United, admits director Matthias Sammer.

"Basically, nothing is excluded," he said. "It's a crazy world.

"He has clearly expressed that he is an important part of the team, but let's see. We're still waiting."
