I dont expect Evra to be a starter but hes still fine to have around whilst Shaw gets used to the place. Do you think we will get a super star to replace Evra?

Shaw is already a better player than Evra is, at present. He will grow into the role, especially considering the price he joined for.

If you're looking for leadership- you do still have the likes of RvP, Rooney, Mata, Fletcher, Carrick and Evans at the club. I think you'll be fine.

Just like Shaw wasn't going to join United according to you.

If we pay the price the club ask for and raise their wages, they'll join.

It's one season with UCL, not 4 like Liverpool.

Good thing you're clueless...

When you thought Shaw was going to Liverpool

Shaw is young and proven. Even at 30m its a long term investment

When he ended up going to Manchester United
United need more experienced players, rather then buying Shaw. Good prospect, but needs a lot of time at the highest level. He is going to be under pressure because of his price tag.

27 mil is a bit tad high methinks

Shaw is not proven. He is new to the scene. You normally pay 30m for a well established player. Borini is not as established player as Lambert I'm afraid
