Hello! According to El Mercurio, Liverpool have joined Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign midfielder Arturo Vidal from Juventus. The Chilean is available for R778.94 million but would command wages of R3,622,998.1-a-week. Brendan Rodgers has already confirmed that, if needed, the money received for Luis Suarez can ALL be spent on new players. This move wouldn't actually happen, would it? Would it?!

Seems like Shaqiri might join Juventus - wonder if that's to replace Vidal...

I hope they don't become that club. Will be a crying shame if they lose their rich history of bringing the lighties up through the ranks.

I think that's kind of moot- lately, United's academy players have been reduced to nothing but squad players. Their brighter talents don't even get a look in.

Same for most PL clubs, though.
