The Chilean is available for R778.94 million but would command wages of R3,622,998.1-a-week. Brendan Rodgers has already confirmed that, if needed, the money received for Luis Suarez can ALL be spent on new players. This move wouldn't actually happen, would it? Would it?!

I think that's kind of moot- lately, United's academy players have been reduced to nothing but squad players. Their brighter talents don't even get a look in.

Same for most PL clubs, though.

Different type of player completely. Shaqiri was probably their backup plan if the Sanchez deal fell through, which it did.
