If he stays with that system I think Smalling, Jones and Hummels would be a fantastic back 3. I remember playing with that idea a few months ago.

If they don't sign another mid, Carrick could be an effective screen in front of them and could even drop back and turn it into a back 4 if under pressure. Help ease the pressure on the wingbacks who are expected to do a lot of work in this type of system.

No he's not. Liverpool won't blow 40m+ on a single player and you won't offer him the wages he wants.

United can pay the transfer fee Juve want AND offer him much better wages. Money talks.

From what I've gathered online, when he was boarding his plane back to Italy he was asked if he was going to Manchester, as in right now! He just mumbled nono and boarded.

Besides is he really going to say "Yes I want to leave Juve and join United" ? That's a big slap in the face of Juve. Suarez says he was staying at Liverpool and where's he now?
