One player I would like to see - possibly a Carrick replacement is Koke... he is more of a CM player but he has a similar passing range to Carrick and defending capability of Sergio Busquets...

Definitely an option. We need to replace him come end of the season. We need a proper holding MF to allow Pogba and Hererra to play freely

I would take Marco Veratti

Marco Veratti is an option but his too reckless - esp in the EPL he'll get trampled - Koke I think will dominate

Trampled how?

The EPL is one of the leagues that actually allow for tough tackles and players who get stuck in

A Keano type player...runs up and down, gets stuck in, all action..just makes everyone up their game

Keane dominated in the EPL

If you follow his games you will notice he likes to do similar things like Pogba, hold onto the ball twist and turn his way out of a opponent to create space - but he tries that from deep within his own half. Given that his only 1.65m tall and he tends to give the ball away in dangerous positions.

Oh don't forget his only 1.65m tall

I'd like to see blind in that position. He's slow and short, but with a more solid defence behind him and the energy of Herrera to help him out. I think he has the footballing brain and passing range to make it work.
He will also chip in with the odd goal with his late runs and solid left foot.

Anyone watch last night? Kante is the MVP in this league. Whatever Chelsea paid for him was dirt cheap.

Saw a tweet asking the lines of *Kante could intercept missiles* lol. Awesome player.

Another week another poor decision. How is Niasse still on the pitch.
