We looked very tired. Fixture list piling up.
Yeah doesn't help that it's been the same core playing week in week out. They definitely need a rest and to rotate more but the quality is somewhat lacking

If there was any doubt before it was put to rest today Zlatan is the new Cantona. He will inspire a generation of United players and fans.

Zlatan what a beast from saving a possible goal conceeding a coner to heading the ball out and following it up with a goal... goal line to goal line... he was there defending, and next second his there burying a perfect ball!

Ref was poor today... that studs up challenge should have been a red card, give a lot of fouls but no cards. Yet lindgard gets a yellow for a trip

It's unfortunate there has to be a winner and a loser as I feel Southampton played better than us. Zlatan is such an awesome player. Really hope he stays on for another year.

I hope the players all get a few days off to rest and recharge. Games are coming thick and fast now.

It is unfortunate, but all credit to us. We didnt have a two week break and we are playing alot of games (competing on all fronts) and winning them. We showed that we are champions coz we make the opportunities count when it matters and have the players who change games

Its not an easy feat and in a season where you are in all competitions, there will be games where you arent the best but need to come out on top to prove your pedigree - we did that

They played better than us in patches, Carrick controlled them in the second half - albiet their goal in the 48th minute.

Did anyone notice Foster is very slow off the block?

Congrats on getting your hands on silverware (yet again)

Doesn't say 'lucky' or 'benefited from poor decisions by officials' or 'played poorly' anywhere on that cup.

Credit to Mou getting the big Z in - he's a goalscorer and he's scored them when needed this season.

:D
