eish Pool next after the international break, if we go into that match with 10 men we gonna prob lose 3-0...

Rooney is normally fired up for those such games - Maybe he will be abit less off the pace?

Huh, after our performance on Saturday it will be like watching two 80 year olds in a cagefight with pool noodles...

Saw the assist (brilliant, but we know what he can do and he does it for country consistently- he just didnt wanna fight in Eng)- dont think it was Cavani that scored tho
Lavezzi.

Thought the Schmidfield was fine - jus thought Fellaini was perfect for this game rather than Mata from the start (even though he got the goal)

They struggled. Mata managed to sky 3 chances on his left but scored with his right. I also think Fellaini should have started. In hindsight though. I was perfectly happy with that lineup before the game.

Nah, both sides always bring it. We have a lot of new boys but they seem to be up for it for the most part.

Yeah but if United goes in with the handicap (Rooney) then it'll be 10 vs 11... how do you expect United to bring their A game when the Captain is doing #$%^ all

It's definitely a worry. But as you know, form goes out the window for these matches. Who knows which Rooney will show up.

I wouldn't say we played crap considering we were playing with 9 players - Romero was wearing a Swansea jersey, Rooney was MIA.

Your team just made critical mistakes, Skrtel and Lovren - been saying they are a liability so if any team wants to beat Liverpool they just need to play direct attacking football. One which United can't do atm

Look, Swansea away is a ****ing tough match, don't get me wrong. Not to mention that Monk seems to have LvG's number. But we contributed a sh.t-ton to our own downfall. Losing 3-0 at home to West Ham is worse, but I'm not going to pretend it was a fluke result by Swansea. They were great, but we were poor. So it may very well be a tale of two currently sh.t teams playing each other. But United-LFC matches are usually crackers.

Just thinking, when was the last time a non-scouser wasn't involved in this derby? With Gerrard and Carra stalwarts for 15 years, I doubt they both missed a derby game.

Luckily, Rooney is still around so, the scouse connection remains :p

Neville sums it up nicely

“They haven’t got players who can beat men in the final third, they don’t create enough. They get lulled into thinking they’re playing football really well.

“They dominate possession but they don’t dominate the match. You dominate the match by scoring goals and playing at a high tempo. Win the game and then control possession.”

Apart from Shaw and Smalling, who was actually good though?

I agree, the team wasnt that great but we were 1 up, we need to finish off games and atleast get more goals in a match the we currently struggling to get

We sorted out the alot this summer but we need to get a player in that can bring the spark back into the side and we need to attack and attack quickly as we have players who can, but I think LVG is happy with possession and the players are playing that way

Wasn't Depay supposed to be that player? He's been absolute dross in the PL.

He was but seems to be less adventurous in the EPL then the CL. Could be an opposition thing, but I also think he needs to be given the license to play with freedom and express himself and I dont think LVg likes that (as I mentioned earlier).

Neville again sums it up nicely:

"They play football – and have done for 12-18 months – at 1-0 and 0-0 like they're winning 4-0," he added.

He doesn't get the time and space in the EPL because our opposition in the EPL is much better than Club Brugge.
