Someone in IT is getting fired today

DE GEA SAGA DEEPENS

Gary Cotterill has the latest on David de Gea’s stalled move to Real Madrid…

He said: “La Liga had said real Madrid’s paperwork turned up 28 minutes late. However, I’m hearing the La Liga offices that they haven’t received any documentation about David de Gea at all! Not on time, not early, not minutes late, nothing at all. As we speak, no paperwork asking to add De Gea to the Real Madrid squad.”

@dbecks - I'm pissed with the way LVG has gone about this transfer window - let RVP, Hernandez, Januzaj leave only to leave us with a half arse striker who is also the club captain that is "undroppable". Signs some unknown unproven 19 year old that only managed 8 goals last season and "apparently" has a attitude problem

Now the whole saga with De Gea - if he wanted to leave why not let him go before the preseason trip? If we didn't want to sell him then tell RM to go FSK themselves we will keep De Gea for another season

piss poor showing

And its moments like this we all wish that the transfer windows closes last day of July. This running into the season is getting long in the tooth.

I have already answered the DDG saga

The only issue I have is letting RvP go, the rest weren't cutting it anyway. They were actually worst then Rooney so why keep them in the books and let them get paid for nothing

Lets see what this Martial can do before writing him off. He has been called up to the French squad and has been playing a season of regular first team football including impressing in the CL playoff game. Who knows how things can change with this guy playing upfront and Rooney dropping back? LVG certainly sees something and he has been doing well with youngsters like Shaw and Smalling and in the Dutch side with the players there.

Plus there is still some time left for another player.

And getting Morgan and Basti along with Darmian and Depay certainly doesn't describe a piss poor showing in the transfer window

if the deal doesn't go through, DDG will be able to sign pre contract agreements in January as he will be out of contract in the summer. Very bad news for UTD.

does this not concern anyone?

...

New developments now from Madrid as the plot surrounding David de Gea’s transfer to Real Madrid takes another twist. Sky Sports News HQ’s Gary Cotterill has the latest…

“On the basis that La Liga didn’t receive any paperwork from Real Madrid regarding David de Gea, there is an avenue of appeal that both clubs could pursue direct to FIFA. It would seem all parties want the deal to go through but, as there was no paperwork, La Liga would be unlikely to back Real Madrid in that appeal and therefore any appeal would be certain to fail."

Begs the question....who really messed up in terms of who has the most to gain from the mess up?

And of course the potential 14 month ban for transfers that Real Madrid are facing so De Gea might only be able to move January 2017...

Yeah but listening to his talk of the ITMS system and the fact that Real left it up until the last minute to get a better price seems pretty indepth

Its a 6min interview on Sky - check it out

MARTIAL PASSES MEDICAL

Sky sources understand Anthony Martial has passed his medical at Manchester United and has returned to France to link up with the French national side.

Now all we await is the official announcement of the deal!

I'm happy with Ed and think he knows his finance and is doing well in terms of our strength in negotiations (he is definitely using his previous financial background and what he has learnt in recent times about transfers to make sure we dont always cave in for ****e)

It sounds to me as if RM never really wanted the deal to get done, because of the fee and that they can now get him free next year. Hopefully DDG realises that Real Madrid is a bunch of idiots and says screw you I am extending at MUFC
