What a pass that was from Shaw...wow.

Definitely been second-best after the international break for the opening period - glad to be in front.

Martial trying to emulate Sanchez at the moment. All those half chances. Standing on his heels. Keep hanging back at the back post.

Come on ole. School him in the way of the poacher.

Was hoping the 2nd half would be better than the first (from a United POV), but no luck so far. I think we need a substitution … Lingard to add some urgency?

This is kinda crap tbh. Midfield needs a kick in the arse.

Says a lot about the game that Jones has been the best Utd player today (Rashford a close second).

Not happy with the performance, but we got the 3 points. It's all that matters at this point.

International break didn't do us any favours. Hoping we kick on again after grinding out this win.

Glad we played first, pressure now on Arsenal and Chelsea.

Watford and Wolves are a tricky pair of games. Both teams don't seem to care who the opposition is, they have a go.

Got out of jail against Watford as lets be honest, they were better. Need to improve for Wolves though.

Usually, I'd prefer to play teams that have a go. We're good enough to beat teams that give us some room in midfield to play through and our defence has been better (weird how going forward means less pressure at the back, eh Mou).

Yesterday's form needs to be put right though...those next couple games could get away from us if we're that lethargic again.

Yes, the team looked lethargic ... and the three midfielders didn't look like they knew how to play with each other.

Not sure why they all seemed switched off, maybe mata as the fourth midfielder at the top of the diamond made it confusing, maybe the two strikers meant the formation wasn't working and we didn't have enough width, but it didn't work.

Anyway, what do you think is needed to get into the CL spots? I saw somewhere OGS said 76 maybe should do it ... that's another 5 wins from 7.

We've got
Wolves
WestHam
Everton
City
Chelsea
Huddersfield
Cardiff

Whatever happens against City we need to deal with Chelsea as that is a potential 6 pointer.

Was watching last night and it didn't seem Newcastle was putting up much of a fight against the gunners.

Guess we can't complain as Newcastle did also give us 6 points.
