No one is arguing that. That's why Sancho is a hope, and rumours are for another 2 or 3 players. I'm a bit sad that Jude Bellingham went to Dortmund, but it seems the lad has a head on his shoulders and most probably wants to develop without the pressure of being a Man United player.

And Dortmund have a great track record developing youngsters - its a great and sensible move.

Yeah, I think that's what sold him on the move. Sad when a club like United cannot match the facilities of a mid-table team in Germany

The way Pogba has been out-muscled in midfield lately is a big concern. It's like he didn't keep up with core strength exercises when league was shut down.
I'm comfortable with Paul. He just came back from a lengthy injury and thrown straight into starting 11.

Dude, wtf are you talking about. Of course he had to play the same players every game did you see the gulf below the first 11?

OGS went into his shell and didn't show faith in anyone except the first team.

For all their faults, having the Darren fletchers, Nicky butt's and maybe to a lesser extent the parks available meant that those teams had players that could match the intensity and desire of the skills of the first 11s back in the day.

Nowadays you have the man the legend JLings. Dan James will get there but we overplayed him in the first half of the season and he ran out of petrol just outside Malmesbury. Mctom and Fred can both do a job but they don't have the managers full confidence. Esp when we try to play out from the back. I don't know wtf the thinking is there.

True. One thing Fergie always had was reliable grafters to form the backbone of his squads. He knew a guy like Butt or Fortune would give 110% in a match against weaker opposition and this allowed him to manage his players better. It was Rio Ferdinand that said Fergie would weeks in advance know who he wanted to play against upcoming opposition and rest and rotate his players as required.

It was an ankle injury, which doesn't preclude him from doing core exercises. And everyone was thrown straight into the starting 11 after the shut down.

I think the bold says it all.

Players who give 110% against a club they know are smaller, against a team less powerful, against players they know are not as skilled. So as a Burnley (last team to beat us in the PL, right?) would come to OT knowing they are running into a set of warriors on the field, and if the hassling, harassing, outmuscling and outscoring doesn't work for the first 60 minutes, then you'd have to deal with a fresh paul scholes, OGS or Giggs coming at you relentlessly for 30 mins with the full knowledge that they are 90 minute regulars.

No wonder we beat some of the teams before they even arrived.

I see it more of a move with an idea of getting into the first team sooner rather than later (similar to Pogba's move away from us). It is also risky going over to a foreign country (no friends or family, foreign language, etc).

United have shown in the past that they do develop youngsters very well. That being said, I do think we pushed Daniel James too far this season, but hopefully he will learn and grow from it.

Don't like the red, but the away kit - black with the same pattern looks pretty cool

Have you even been watching the last two games. Wicked form of his life. Good of OGS to haul him off and save some magic. The JTrain is leaving for platform Europa Champions with or without you!
