Interested to see how the GK situation plays out

Sheffield United have re-signed England Under-21 goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Bournemouth in a deal worth £18.5 million, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.
Ramsdale will take over as the club's first-choice keeper from Dean Henderson, who has returned to parent club Manchester United after two seasons on loan at Bramall Lane.

Fingers crossed.

Says he is a box to box midfielder, good at holding a defensive position, but also comfortable going forward.
8 goals from midfield isn't bad.

I wonder if he's got a good distance shot on him.
I've always liked Ajax players... especially their academy ones, and at 24 looks like he's got years ahead of him.

Just wondering if he then takes the Matic/Fred/McTom position in the 3 man midfield with Bruno and Pogba.

Gives options all over the place, from what I've read about him. Fred is far too erratic anyway. Can be brilliant one game, and then spends the next 3 passing the ball to the opposition more than to his own teammates.

Long and the short of it - Real Madrid apparently wanted him, and there were also rumours of Barcelona wanting him as well. So can't be too shabby.

But he is another CAM... not really sure why we need him seeing as we have Bruno Fernandes unless he is replacing Mata on the bench - I highly doubt he will replace Fernandes in the starting XI... Perhaps he is here for squad depth

He is more flexible than that. I can't believe you have an issue with bringing him into the team.

Or maybe replacing Pogba, you never know.

Fred can only dream of that type of consistency!

So VDB is practically through the door. I've extensively scouted him on Youtube but he does seem a bit slight, but good balance. Like i said, i like Ajax players ... looks like he's got quick feet.

Talking of quick feet I'd like us to also get Reguilon ... He also has quick feet and looks like he likes getting forward. As much as I have high hopes for Williams/Shaw/AWB ... our fullbacks aren't very attack minded ... contributing goals and assists. I know we're focussing on creating through the middle, but we do need more variety in our points of attack.

Did McT really play as a central defender for Scotland, he looked very shaky.

From official site
Manchester United's Carabao Cup campaign for 2020/21 will begin away to Luton Town, in a third-round tie to be played next week.
While the exact date and kick-off time are still to be confirmed, the Reds now know the opposition and the venue after the Hatters beat Reading 1-0 away at Madejski Stadium

Not so much anything about the team but the short turnaround between seasons kinda dampens the excitement. Straight from end of season into friendlies and now the season's started...the usual 3 months to build anticipation went missing this year.
