nice to see United actually started out the blocks - but not sure if it was just meh defending from Leeds

Looked intentional from us...doubt McTominay makes those runs that early in a big game. We'll see on Saturday, I guess.

Starts for Bailly, Tuanzebe, Van Der Beek, Cavani...decent looking team. Slight injury worries for Mctominay and Wan Bissaka.

If someone could put the ball in the net, that would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a really nice game of football to watch. Some of the best overall play from us in the first half hour, but for the lack of clear scoring opportunities and goals.

But yet we won. I'm detecting a bit of a backbone in this team. Which is what we have needed for a few years.

Not sure if it is backbone, confidence amongst the players or confidence in the team returning, but lately I've been looking forward to the games, and feeling like we're capable of scoring which means I feel confident of a win.

Pogba and Matic were really good yesterday...2 players we'll have to replace soon :cautious:

Tuanzebe has been at the club so long and no-one has told him it's okay to go past the halfway line :p

Crazy schedules. We should be playing on Sunday evening. Was very surprised to see Bruno playing. He looked a bit knackered.

That Cavani shot was sublime.. but heck if the team could have buried the 3 chances in the first 25 minute it would have been easier...

****ing Rashford keeps missing chances. We should have easily won that and deserved to.

Bailly needs to stop thinking he can pick a pass like De Bruyne, geez each time he gets the ball I panic.

A few off performances, Martial, Pogba. Should have brought on Cavani sooner.

Oh well still up there, and I'll take that.

I was happy how the team was sent out against a good opponent. Was a positive formation (though McTominay was much less adventurous than against Leeds).

There's more belief than early in the season when Ole didn't trust the midfield, didn't trust the defence and Martial or Rashford were wandering around alone up top. Good signs for the rest of the season.

Bit of a fortunate win, but will take it. Up to 2nd.

Another tough game on Friday ... Villa. The game after this is at Anfield

That was a great win. Players all looked like they were knackered.i see only injuries of there isn't an enforced break soon.

For all those criticising Ole's man man management, I'm glad Bruno managed to get that minute of rest at the end of the game. Going to be a game changer at end of the season.

I'm guessing you are being sarcastic. In case you were not watching, it was Bruno's pass in extra time that led to Rashford scoring the goal.

Rather important two points, I reckon.

Yes sarcasm in that I think Bruno needs a break and we can't afford to give it to him. Then ole dubs him with 1 minute to play in optional time.
