Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has been suspended for three games and fined 100,000 pounds ($136,590) after he admitted a Football Association (FA) charge for using a racial term, the soccer governing body said on Thursday.

The 33-year-old Uruguayan used the word "negrito" in an Instagram post last month after beating Southampton on Nov. 29, before taking it down and apologising.

Cavani will miss United's league game against Aston Villa, the League Cup semi-final against Manchester City and the FA Cup match against Watford as a result of the suspension.

Liking the effort the boys are putting in - Wan Bissaka and Pogba, in particular have been galloping up and down the pitch the entire half.

Bailly has been impressive too. McTominay has been pretty anonymous, but I think that's because he's keeping Grealish in his pocket.

Grealish was very good. Starting the new year with a good 3 points.

Agreed that the effort has been great. Good return for our festive season fixture list.

Glad martial got a proper strikers goal. Although he was arguably attacking the wrong space.

Very good game by De Gea, Baillie, Pogba, Fred and Bruno as always.

Loving Shaw and De Geas return to form with some proper competition for their spots.

Happy new year everyone. That last 10 minute... but man what a block by Bailly...

I felt we had so many chances but kept rushing it in the final third, should have been more clinical and buried Aston Villa

Why do I hear we playing Liverpool for a cup?

Isn't it City on the 6th then Watford on the 9th?

Burnley and Pool for epl there after

We're playing pool in the League on the 17th and atm we're level on points with them. Basically whoever wins on the 17th takes a big step towards winning the League

Hence why I said a big step. Put it the other way, it becomes a lot harder for the team who loses on the 17th.

So much better discussion than ole out. PE teacher. Clueless, no tactics.
I don't recall anyone here calling for Oleout... He has definitely been doing a hell lot of homework since the poor games against PSG and RBL

It's still pretty early to worry about a single game - I mean we should be trying to win every game but losing a game in the league isn't the end of the world.

There'll still be 63 points to play for after the 17th. A lot can happen in 21 games.

Wrong space? Owen seems to not think so.

Seems to me like he said that konsa made a mistake but missing the ball that gives martial the opportunity.

It's arguably the wrong space but hey, fantastic goal and in any final analysis the right space.

Yes sarcasm in that I think Bruno needs a break and we can't afford to give it to him. Then ole dubs him with 1 minute to play in optional time.

Well, I think they know how to manage players in terms of fatigue. Bruno is starting to strike me as one of those players who have a "diesel" engine. Unlike Bale and co, he can carry on.

Then again, we now seem to be overflowing with midfield options. Mata, Matic, Fred, McTominay, De Beek, Pogba etc. I like it.

I need to go check, but I do recall a couple of posts mentioning the Ole out thing.

Farking ridiculous. He meant it in a friendly way, but PC and other stuff has gone full retard.
