Farking ridiculous. He meant it in a friendly way, but PC and other stuff has gone full retard.
Nah precedence was set with Suarez although Suarez was unrepentant... remember Bernardo Silva was also banned for a similar post

Our game against the saints was also very tough. They're a bloody good team this season and work very hard. Cavani's second in OLE time got us over the line. Just.

We have been playing v well and pool hadn't lost in three. And we're just level on points but with a game in hand. I don't think we are good enough to win the title as we are still going to have a few wobbles along the way. But I'm enjoying our matches again. Glory Glory hopefully in the near future.

One game at a time, one game at a time.....

I think we all can agree that saying anything about the position we find ourselves in and the potential prospects thereof would be premature????

It would be very premature, a win at Burnley and a win at Anfield and then we can start making a bit of noise.

On one hand, I fully agree (the title race has a very long way to run) but on the other hand we should celebrate the position we're in. Ole and the boys have come a long way in the last year and from struggling to make Champs League to being top of the table shouldn't be ignored.

Too early to celebrate... now is the time where we need the team to give 110%

A sobering loss for us, happy to see Henderson with some decent saves.

Few off performances here and there.

How I wish Cavani was available to sub or start over Martial. Martial's runs are not as intelligent as Cavani for me and he does too much tricks at times.

City look like they are going to kick on now (signs was there against Chelsea)

A sobering loss indeed, but we adapted a very different approach for this game compared to the league game. This was much more open and not regarded as a must win. As much as I don't want any loss, this is one I'll easily take. Wouldn't have minded if we lost the QF game either. Any potential silverware is good, but really, if the players are focussed on the league and only the league games, and manage to kick on in that one competition I'll be more than happy.

I understand this is about momentum but I also think this was an opportunity to give the players a potential break. This weekend even more so. Hopefully we can give Tuanzebe, James, Mata, vdBeek, williams, Telles, a run and rest Rashford, Fred, Maguire and Bruno.

Was a pretty good game to watch...nicely-poised till we let in that silly goal. Really, Harry? Bloody fridge.

I'm liking what I see from Ole - he's gotten a lot more confident with how he sets up the team. City look the business at the moment though and that's without a striker.

Really not sure why OGS fielded the first team for this match... £100000 for winning it doesn't warrant risking the starting X

FA Cup at least has £1.8m and £900000 for Winning semi's

It's not about money really...when you get that far into a competition and the team hasn't won any silverware for 3-4 years and you've lost 3 semis in a row and it's a derby, you play your strongest team.

Ole wants to create a winning culture...the league is way from certain while the cups are a start.

Winning culture? By playing all 10 of your starting XI for a cup and risk burning out the players for the rest of the season? Fernandes gets injured or dip in form where do you think that will put us? Rashford/Martial gets injured and what other attacking options do we have? Rashford already looked tired for the last 3 matches. Fernandes also looking tired and sloppy with his passing. Should have played James, Mata, Lindgard, Williams, Tuzenube, DVB and Matic for this match.

I feel this was an opportunity lost to rest some of the key players and we are surely going to regret it around March...
The whole we going to rotate the squad seems such BS right now...

Eish, Bailly was passing to Watford before he got kicked in the head. Can only imagine what he's going to get up to now.
