57 points, 9 games left to play and 27 points to be had.

What do you all reckon with the following fixture list?

Brighton
Spurs
Burnley
Leeds
Liverpool
Aston Villa
Leicester
Fulham
Wolves

5th place is West Ham with a game in hand and possibly on 51 points but we have +14 goal difference.

Is top 4 wrapped up? We've averaged just under 2 points per game so far this season, which projects 18 points from the remainder, that's 6 wins ... or 5 wins 3 draws and a loss. However, the way this season has gone, who knows! But 6 wins should do it. So which 6 games do you all reckon is our best shot?

Brighton - W
Spurs - L
Burnley - W
Leeds - W
Liverpool - D
Villa - D
Leicester - W
Fulham - W
Wolves - W

Should finish top-3.

One loss in the next 9 games? You are a lot more optimistic than I am .. but I like it .. a team that is organised in defense like spurs is always a problem for us .. esp when their manager knows our players' weakness. IE defending!

To be fair, only 2 losses in the last 24 games and 1 in the last 10.

This isn't an easy team to beat, they're just easy to stifle and prone to giving away a dumb goal, hence 5 draws in the last 9 games.

Maybe I am a bit optimistic in the amount of wins, perhaps another draw or two in there.

You are probably spot on ... But I would say we beat/draw with spurs ..and lose to one of brighton, burnley or fulham ... yeah, probably already relegated fulham!

That is entirely possible. Fulham definitely as they are not actually a terrible team, being very well organised defensively, which as you pointed out always poses a problem for United.

We probably have a 50/50 chance of scoring a goal against the defensive minded teams. This of course goes up by 5% each for when playing pogba and bruno, rashford and cavani. However, Pogba playing also usually means we lose out on our best defensive pivots and are more likely to concede a goal.

Against those teams it seems good for us to concede early/ in the first half, and then play hell for leather for the rest of the match. We play well in "frenzy mode".

Take Rashford off and leave James on, doesn't make sense.
Rashford done nothing in the last few matches... first half he was mia

Is it me or does Pogba look like he enjoyed one too many McDonalds during his recovery?

Job done.

Rashford injuries catching up with him. Or rather rashford being played to death catching up with ole. And the man gets a lucky break again. Inspired substitution.

Nothing works as well as #OleOut. I think the board must give him a rolling 3 month contract.

What's the most difficult one?

We'll get that one this year? Was it 2016 when we got the easy half of the draw??

So Zagreb, Roma, villareal.
