That build up for the second goal, DVB draws the CB which opened Fernandes to a clear path behind to cross for Pogba... Was a good movement

It felt like one of those games where we would break them down with sheer will. Then they nearly made me weep when we decided to defend for the last ten minutes.

Awesome skill by Rashford. Was that Lindelof with the thru ball?

There was some good passing on display today, esp in the second half.

Almost like it's something you can practice and improve.

That first half was so frustrating to watch. Fortunately the second was really good.

VAR being inconsistent again. How was the goal WBA scored allowed and Cavani’s goal not?

Commentator was spot on with that move Son pulled and the VAR decision. Seeing too much of this now where players absolutely milk a hand anywhere near the face and it is becoming a farce.

Another comeback though and I really don't see them losing their grip on 2nd place. Pity about those frustrating draws, could really be breathing down City's neck without them.

In related news, Lingard had another blinder for West Ham, 8 goals in 9 appearances now.

Well, the owners suck giant hairy dicks but what else is new?

And back to the football...Greenwood's pass for the 3rd goal while he was on a hattrick shows how far he's come. He used to shoot on sight when he first came into the team but his looking up now and the team is better for it.

I feel he is learning a lot from Cavani and Bruno... But for Cavani's better run for the third goal to the middle of the goal, he (Greenwood) would have been there for the tap in at the far post anyway.

The moment of the match for me, was, however, the first goal and Bruno's "leave" for Mason. Bruno knew exactly what he was going to do the whole time. He did the leave (how do you describe a non-action) with such panache, drawing the goalkeeper and both defenders, leaving Greenwood free to smash it in. And then Bruno's walk away like: "What are you guys celebrating? This is basic training ground warm-up stuff."
